Can You Manually Lockout an Electric Reverse Lockout Brake Coupler
Question:
I have a Titan Trailer Coupler - T4745720 on an aluminum tandem axle trailer. I have electric reverse lockout but would like to also have the ability to lockout manually when the wiring harness is not connected at the boat landing. Is there a kit to modify this coupler to have the capability to be both electric and manual for reverse lockout? Thanks.

I have a solution for you if you have drum brakes, but I spoke with my contact at Titan and he did not have a recommended way to manually lock out a trailer brake actuator that has an electric reverse lockout.
The best thing you can do is get some free backing trailer brakes. These brakes allow your trailer to back up without activating the brakes, even if your trailer does not have a reverse lockout. Since I do not know what size brakes you have I attached a page that has all of the different free backing brakes we offer.
