Wiring Instructions for a 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible

I am looking for a wiring harness for a 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible. Along with the wiring diagram and wiring information.

You will need to hard wire your Mini Cooper S Convertible for trailer wiring. The Upgraded Circuit Protected Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit with 4 Pole End (Includes Testers), item # 119178KIT, is the correct wiring harness for your vehicle.
You will need to access the tail light wiring behind the tail lights and use the included circuit tester to identify the left turn, right turn, stop and tail light wires. Once these wires are identified you will splice the yellow wire to the left turn wire the green wire to the right turn wire, the red wire to the stop light wire and the brown wire to the tail light wire. Finally, connect the ground wire to a suitable ground location and route the wiring and you are done.
