If a bike rack says 45 lbs max per bike then you might be able to get away with a few lbs over that limit if you have 1 bike, but 20 lbs over that limit will definitely not be safe. This is not a common axle size. The Axle # e32GR is going to be our closest to your current axle. This axle has a 72" hub face with spring center of 58". You may be able to use this axle if you have the clearance for your tires to be moved out 3/4" on each side of your trailer. According to EcoHitch, the # 306-X7203 isn't a fit to for the 2021 Crosstrek, as there have been changes to the rear of of the vehicle between the 2018 model and the 2021 model that would prevent the hitch from fitting.

If I personally had to choose between the two, I'd go with the Thule # TH911XT. I actually prefer the looks of the # SA805BL Saris Bones, but I don't care for the way that the weight of the bikes and the rack rest on feet that small. Spreading the weight over a larger area like the Archway does lessens the chances that the vehicle will be damaged, and makes the whole unit more stable. Both rack manufacturer offers a limited lifetime warranty, so you really can't go wrong either way.

For carrying a bike rack the best hitch for your 2022 Subaru Ascent would be the etrailer part # e55ZR which installs behind the rear bumper panel. This helps in two ways. First it makes the hitch sit up higher which allows for better ground clearance so that means no risk of bike rack or bikes dragging/scraping pavement. Secondly it gives a totally hidden appearance when not in use since you can cover the opening.

The wiring harness would splice directly into the taillight circuits of your Outback, as demonstrated in the video I've linked. I wish I had a better answer for you, but the Camco Quick-Connect to Quick-Connect Propane Hose # CAM57280 at 3 feet long is the only propane hose we carry with the male and female quick connects. I spoke with my contact at Camco and he confirmed that there is not a 10 or 12 foot version of this hose.
