The Curt part # C13345 that you referenced weighs 34 lbs and is a confirmed fit for your 2010 Kia Sedona. I attached an install video link to this page as well. view full answer...
I would be happy to help!
The Curt T-Connector # C56347 and # C89KR you were looking at are both confirmed to fit your 2012 Kia Sedona and will both give you the 4-way connector you need. There is not major difference between the harnesses so I recommend going with the most cost effective option at the time.
Moving on to adding a 7-way connector to use the Curt Echo Wireless # C51180 I recommend the # ETBC7L which was designed specifically for the Echo. The # ETBC7L will plug into your... view full answer...

Yes, your 2019 Kia Sedona without the factory tow package is still compatible with the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness with Brake Controller Adapter # TK24FR.
According to the manufacturer, Tekonsha, this is compatible with all models of Kia Sedona and will plug into the tow package port which will be on your vehicle.
This is compatible with the Tekonsha brake controllers, and for that I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 as it is recognized... view full answer...
For your Kia Sedona we don't yet have an install video for the Curt # C55309. I have attached the installation instructions for you to check out and we are always here if you have any questions. view full answer...
I did some research and the Sedona is Short Wheel Base -SWB. If it is a Sedona LX or a Sedona EX it is a Long Wheel Base-LWB. The best way to be sure is to measure.
Measure from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel. If the measurement is 113.8 inches, it is SWB. If the measurement is 118.9 inches, it is LWB.
For the SWB models we have the Draw-Tite # 75551. Then for the LWB models, you would need the Curt # C13345. view full answer...
For a set of replacement 6-way square connectors you would want the part # 37995. This part number comes with both the trailer and the vehicle side connectors so you would have a spare for your vehicle as well.

The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR is a great option to increase safety on your 2017 Kia Sedona. To install this you will need the Redarc Wiring # RED69FR and the 7-Way Kit # ETBC7. This kit will attach to the Tekonsha T-One # 118269 harness and provides you with the wiring needed for installing the Redarc controller. The 7-Way kit also includes both a 7-way which will allow you to connect to trailers with trailer brakes and a 4-way for towing your other small trailers... view full answer...
The correct T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for a 2007 Kia Sedona is part # 118410. This harness is plug-n-play but it plugs in behind the tail lights. There isn't a tow package port on the Sedona so they don't make an option like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118252. I know this means more work but it's still a splice free option which is a huge plus. It's not difficult either per se, just takes more time.
If you don't already have a trailer hitch in mind, the Draw Tite Trailer... view full answer...
What you have would be what's considered a naked roof and not what our flush mount roof racks for your vehicle are designed to fit. The SeaSucker part # 298-SX6000B would be only option. This rack style is surprisingly strong once you can get past the design. This rack also installs an removes very easily. view full answer...
All of the hitches we offer for the 2016 Kia Sedona have the same towing capacities but the one I like the best is the Curt part # C13115 as it has the best price and is made in the USA. I attached an install video for this carrier for you to check out as well.
This would work well with your MaxxTow Cargo Carrier MT70106 that you are planning on using as well. view full answer...
Your best option to match the roof rack will be the Kuat Grip Ski and Snowboard Carrier # GRR6B. This is a very sleek and low profile option.
In terms of height added, the REX Crossbars are about 3-1/2 inches tall when installed, and the carrier is 4-1/2 inches tall, so you'll be at about 8 inches added to the roof of your vehicle. I would verify your heights post installation just to be safe. view full answer...
If the wiring harness you have is the correct harness for your Sedona and is working intermittently, you can most likely solve the issue by doing a bit of troubleshooting. Check the ground wire connection first. Make sure it is attached to a clean metal surface that is free of corrosion, paint and primer. Next check the connectors to make sure none of the pins in the connectors are bent and that the connectors are fully seated an the locking tabs are engaged fully.

I checked the owner's manual of your 2020 Kia Sedona and found that it has a maximum trailer towing capacity of 3,500 lbs if your trailer has brakes, or 1,000 lbs if your trailer does not have brakes. What this means is that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13115, which has a 4,000 lb towing capacity, is absolutely strong enough to handle the maximum load your 2020 Kia Sedona can tow.
I have added a photo showing how this hitch will look when installed on your Sedona as well as a link... view full answer...
What you described sounds like a shorted out converter box. Nearly every time one of the boxes fails the symptoms you described are what happens. Also, the Curt harnesses are notorious for shorting out easier than the Tekonsha. I would recommend you go with the part # 118410 after seeing if you can find the short that's on your trailer's wiring.
Now if your trailer does not have brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 as an adapter to convert the 4-way to a 7-way.
If you do have... view full answer...
The Curt converters do sometimes have issues, but Curt is good with their warranties if you are still within its limits.
If you are ready to move onto another brand, I recommend for your 2007 Kia Sedona that you use the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118410 instead. We have had great customer reviews with this harness. view full answer...
The Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack # HR4000 would be a great bike rack option for your 2018 Kia Sedona that has a Draw Tite 2 inch hitch # 75894 installed. You'd have plenty of clearance for the rack to fit and allow the rear door to open when the rack is folded down. view full answer...
Thank you for the spec sheet on the axle you have on your trailer. I spoke with my contact at Dexter and they told me that you do not need to replace your axle, you can just upgrade the one you have.
They told me that you have the brake mounting flange mounted on your axle so what you will want to do is add a new hub and drum, the brakes, and wiring for your trailer, and you should be good to go.
The hub and drum I recommend is the etrailer.com Trailer Hub Assembly, part # AKHD-545-35-G-K.... view full answer...
