  • Best Ball Mount w/ Correct Rise for a 2018 Kia Sedona
  • I would be happy to help you. The Draw-Tite hitch item # 75894 sits 11" off of the ground when mounted on your 2018 Kia Sedona. I have linked a diagram I made. You will want the Curt Ball Mount item # C45446. This ball mount has a 5" Rise and fits a 2" receiver. You will also need the Curt 2" Hitch Ball item # A-90. This will give you a 17" height to match your trailers coupler.

  • Recommended Roof Rack for 2014 Kia Sedona for Use with Subaru Cargo Box E361SAJ200
  • We offer a range of roof rack kits for your 2014 Kia Sedona with factory raised side rails that can be seen on the linked page. These include various crossbar styles: square, round, rectangular and aero (elliptical). Since the Subaru OEM rack cross bars are fairly wide you'll be able to use their cargo box on most styles of crossbar, but the surest and easiest fit will be on a square bar rack like the Malone SteelTop Roof Rack # MPG201 which you referenced.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2012 Kia Sedona
  • I have a way better hitch for you but the frame on your 2012 Kia Sedona is not wide enough for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13900. Instead you will want the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch item # 75421. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Sedona with included hardware. It does not require any drilling. I recommended this hitch because it has a 2" receiver which will give you the widest options for accessories but also because this hitch has a 3,500 lbs capacity. You...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness For a 2015 Kia Sedona Compatible With 1-1/4 Accessories
  • Currently the class 3 receivers like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e49YR are the only receivers being made for your 2015 Kia Sedona. We do offer a Trailer Hitch Reducer # e63YR that will allow you to use your 1-1/4" accessories or ball mounts. I recommend installing a T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118269 when installing the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat connector that is needed for most small trailers you may pull, and will also allow you to use Auxiliary Lights #...

  • Compatibility of Solar Battery Generator with DC to DC Charger
  • The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger - Dual Input - DC to DC - 12V/24V - 25 Amp # 331-BCDC1225D will work very well with solar panels, but I'm not sure how it would improve the charging that is already integrated into your solar power generator. The generator could be directly connected to your trailer battery. I don't have any knowledge of your battery generator or it's ability to maintain a trailer battery, so that may be a differentiating point. The BCDC kit is designed to...

  • Trailer Hitch for a 2007 Kia Sedona LX Long Wheel Base
  • What you can do is measure the wheel base of your 2007 Kia Sedona to determine if you need the long wheel base hitch, # C13345 or the short wheel base hitch, # 75551. The long wheel base is 119 inches. The short wheel base will be 113.8 inches. Measure from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel. From what we have found, the LX and EX models are long wheel base models. They will also have a third row of seating. I still recommend measuring to be sure. For either...

  • How Do I Tell if My Kia Sedona is Short Wheel Base or Long Wheel Base
  • I did some research and the Sedona is Short Wheel Base -SWB. If it is a Sedona LX or a Sedona EX it is a Long Wheel Base-LWB. The best way to be sure is to measure. Measure from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel. If the measurement is 113.8 inches, it is SWB. If the measurement is 118.9 inches, it is LWB. For the SWB models we have the Draw-Tite # 75551. Then for the LWB models, you would need the Curt # C13345.

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a 2019 Kia Sedona
  • Since you are specifically addressing rear sag I recommend just getting the rear Sumosprings item # CSS-1168R for your 2019 Kia Sedona. These insert inside your rear coil springs to keep them from flexing all the way. This limits the travel on your suspension which keeps the rear end pushed up when under a heavy load. The Coil SumoSprings item # CSS-1168R will not increase the ride height of your Sedona. They will help to reduce body roll and keep your rear end level when towing your...

  • Can 2008 Kia Sedona Safely Pull Boat out of Water?
  • The 2008 Kia Sedona has a 3.8 liter V6 with 250 hp, and while that's not a beast it's certainly capable of pulling a boat trailer out of the water with your Curt # C13345 Class III hitch, barring an abnormally steep gradient. The reason you've probably heard a number of different things is because there are many factors that can lead to problems - or lack thereof - when towing. How the vehicle was maintained, the amount of cargo it has inside and the quality of the tires will make a difference....

  • Towing Setup for a 2021 Kia Sedona
  • I would be happy to help you set up your 2021 Kia Sedona for towing. Lets start with a hitch. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13115. This is a class III 2" custom fit hitch that will attach to your vehicle with no drilling into the frame. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 400 lbs. I have attached a picture so you can see what the hitch looks like installed on a Kia Sedona. For your trailer light control functions I recommend...

  • How Can I Tell If 2009 Kia Sedona Is Short Or Long Wheel Base And What Hitch To Use
  • On the 2009 Kia Sedona, the long wheelbase has the third row seating that will fold into the floor. The short wheelbase does not have that feature. The Curt Trailer Hitch, # C13345, is for the long wheelbase Kia Sedona. It is a bolt-on application with no drilling required. If you have the short wheelbase Kia Sedona then you will use the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75551. The installation on this hitch does require removal of the tie-down hook and there is a access hole on the passengers...

  • Picking Out Correct Rise/Drop Ball Mount for 2017 Kia Sedona Towing Boat Trailer
  • The correct rise/drop ball mount for your 2017 Kia Sedona towing the trailer you mentioned depends on the hitch height and the coupler height of the trailer which we can't know. We do know that if you have a Draw Tite hitch part # 75894 installed on your Sedona it would have a hitch height of 11-1/2 inches. So if you can get the height from the bottom of the coupler lip down to the ground when it's level we can determine what you'd need. Once you know that number the difference between...

  • Can I Leave the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Mounted to the Trailer Frame at the Camp Site
  • The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs # CC-275 is attached with nuts and bolts, so you'd really just need to remove 4 nuts in order to remove the bike carrier from the trailer frame. It is most likely going to interfere with and slide out at the height it sits at but I can't imagine it taking more than a couple minutes to remove.

  • Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement For 2019 Kia Sedona
  • I have another option for you, but at this time there is not a Timbren suspension option confirmed to fit your 2019 Kia Sedona. Instead I recommend the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1168R which are confirmed to fit thee rear coil springs of your vehicle as long as it is a 2WD model. This is currently the only rear suspension enhancement option available.

  • Will a Saris Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2018 Kia Sedona
  • The Saris Bones trunk mount bike rack # SA805BL is not a fit for the 2018 Kia Sedona. But Saris does list the Guardian # SAR93FR for 2 bikes or # SAR43FR for 3 bikes as a fit for your van. It is recommended to either use Hatch Huggers # SA3035 in place of the lower straps OR to close the standard hooks inside of the rear hatch when mounting the bike rack. If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then...

  • How to Choose the Correct Ball Mount for a 2017 Kia Sedona
  • In order to determine the correct amount of rise/drop you will need in a ball mount you will want to measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler on your trailer while level then subtract this measurement from the ground to the top of the inside edge on the hitch for your 2017 Kia Sedona. I have attached a help article that will walk you through this process as well. When we installed the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75894 on a 2015/2016 Kia Sedona we found...

  • Yakima Cargo Box Recommendation That Fits 2018 Kia Sedona OEM Roof Rack
  • There are no longer replacement brackets available from Yakima that fit will fit the SpaceCase series of rooftop cargo boxes. Your best option is to replace the SpaceCase with a new one that does fit the OEM roof rack on your 2018 Kia Sedona such as the Yakima SkyBox 18 # Y07336 which will give you 18 cubic feet of carrying capacity. This cargo box comes with locks to secure your cargo, has a dual-opening lid for easy access and installs easily with a clamp system. The SkyBox is made...
