Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2007 Kia Sedona
Question:
Hi, Ive purchased two of the Curt wiring converters for my 2007 Sedona, and each one of them, after a short period of time has partially failed. The current one I have will not turn on the running lights of my trailer. Ive tested all the wiring on both the car side and trailer side. Everything prior to going into the converter is good but when it comes out is the problem. Also, theres constant 12v being supplied to the connector even when nothing is on. Is there a better brand or model I should try next? Im getting frustrated not having predictable results with these units and having to replace them.

The Curt converters do sometimes have issues, but Curt is good with their warranties if you are still within its limits.
If you are ready to move onto another brand, I recommend for your 2007 Kia Sedona that you use the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118410 instead. We have had great customer reviews with this harness.
