Roof Rack Recommendation for 2017 Kia Sedona with Naked Roof

Question:

I have a Kia Sedona 2017 with a roof that looks like the photo I included here. I have a need to carry rowing shells on the roof, tied down in front and back of course, about 27foot long and 30 pounds each. Two shells, at the most. Will the SeaSucker be an option for me? Is what I have considered the flush mount rails? I didnt think so. If so, then I can use crossbars from Thule or Yakima or whoever that do flush mount? The rails from Kia are silly expensive, I need something for occasional use, not full time. Theyd be used then removed. Thanks!

What you have would be what's considered a naked roof and not what our flush mount roof racks for your vehicle are designed to fit. The SeaSucker part # 298-SX6000B would be only option. This rack style is surprisingly strong once you can get past the design. This rack also installs an removes very easily.
