I assume you have the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC358590? If that is the case then there is a manual override on both the top of the motor and bottom of the leg for each jack. Since the jack is retracted then it will be best to use the manual override on top of the motor. On the top of the motor is a rubber plug. Remove the plug and insest a 3/8" drive (socket + extension), then turn.

Sounds like you are experiencing what is termed 'Hyperflashing'.
My best recommendation is to remove the 4-way wiring harness and see if the problem still persists. If it does there is a problem in the vehicle wiring.
If the problem goes away, then the converter is probably bad and the harness needs to be replaced.

The main reason why folks go through multiple trailer taillight wiring harnesses/converter modules is a short in the trailer wiring. I know, it's a new trailer but all it takes is one nick in the wire insulation when they were pulling the trailer wiring through the trailer frame and you'll continue blowing out converters until the end of time until you locate and repair the short. It is very, very likely that the issue with no power to the 12 volt pin of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # C68JR is due to a fuse either having been blown or not inserted, so definitely start there.

This is a textbook example of a bad ground connection. Ground problems normally show up when there is more draw on a system such as when you have the running lights on and then use another function like a turn signal or brake light.

Before replacing your T-One Wiring Harness # 118583 you'll want to use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to check for voltage going into the converter box on that wire as well as outside the converter box. If voltage is going in and not out, then the issue will be the box and it is going to need to be replaced. Installation of a trailer wiring harness like Curt # C56332 certainly should not have caused battery discharge in your 2015 Kia Sedona but we have seen this issue on occasion. It sounds like you have a short and possibly a loose or damaged connection somewhere. A short like this is usually caused by corrosion in a trailer connector or a pinched or damaged wire. I do also recommend changing the white wire ground location from the aftermarket 7-Way to a different bare metal surface (to cover all our bases).

First thing to check is to verify that 12 volts are making it to the light assemblies with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. Next you'll need to make sure the lights are grounding properly. The issue is between either the power or the ground for the lights. Most likely the ground though as that is the more common problem. It sounds like there is a ground issue that is causing the malfunction. First, you can do some tests on the vehicle side to see if it is the problem or if it is on the trailer. You will need a circuit tester like # PTW2993 if needed to test the wiring.

I spoke to my contact at Curt and after I explained to him your situation he said the problem is either you are overdrawing the converter box of the # C56049 or are overdrawing the taillight circuits of your 2009 Kia Optima.
His advice was to convert your incandescent trailer lights to LEDs as they draw considerably less which should fix your problem.

Since you are getting power when you put on the right turn and it is just dim, it sounds like the module is probably okay. I recommend cleaning the trailer connections with some sandpaper and then checking the turn signal again.
