Troubleshooting Tekonsha 4-way Harness 118749 Not Powering Trailer Lights
Question:
I have this wired and everything connected, correctly. The two crimp butt joint wire connectors both failed, I used a wire nut and electrical tape I have not double checked those connections yet. The crimp terminal connector ALSO sucks so I tightened the yellow fuse connector wire right to the terminal. Any other ideas what might cause there to be no power to my trailer harness?

I'd be happy to help troubleshoot this with you.
First off you'll want to remove the electrical tape and wire nut as that is not the correct way to make the connection from the harness to the battery of the Tekonsha 4-way Harness # 118749 you linked to. Instead you'll need butt connectors # DW05745-5 to make that connection, and some crimpers such as # PTW30764 to make sure your connections don't fail like the original.
Once you verify that all of those corrections are secure and correct, you'll just need to make sure the included fuse got installed and your trailer lights should work just fine.
