The Draw-Tite Sportframe Class I Trailer Hitch, # 24857, is listed to fit the 2010 BMW 328i sedan, but it has not been tested specifically on the M sport models. You will only have to do some fascia trimming if the rear bumper fascia on your model sits further below the vehicle frame or end panels than the base models. If not, then the receiver of the hitch will sit just below the rear bumper fascia. After doing some research on the M sport package, I do not think this will be an issue... view full answer...
Installing stabilizer jacks like the part # UF39-941705 aren't going to void any warranties as long as they are installed properly.
These jack would work well as long as the frame on your 2016 Lance is between 48 and 80 inches in width.

The Curt trailer hitch receiver you referenced, their 1-1/4-inch Class I hitch # C11756, is a correct fit for the 335i and 335xi sedans with gasoline engines. The hitch installs without drilling using included hardware. At right you will find a link to the installation instructions for this hitch receiver.
I have also linked for you two articles with helpful general tips for hitch installation.
Please note that this light-duty hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 200-lbs and maximum trailer... view full answer...
I've linked the installation instructions for the Curt # C11756. The hitch is compatible with a 335i sedan, non-Diesel model.
If you were planning on using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll also need the trailer wiring harness, part # C59496. The recommended ball mount is part # C45521 and use part # F-4 for the pin and clip. For a 1-7/8 inch ball, use part # C40001 or for a 2 inch ball, use part # C40018. view full answer...
The installation instructions for the Curt # C11367 trailer hitch shows in step 2 that the heatshield is removed. In step 8 the instructions say to reverse steps 1 through 5.
I called my contact at Curt and although the instructions do not mention modifying or trimming the heatshield, they told me that the heatshield is re-installed but you may need to do a little trimming or adding a hole in the heatshield. view full answer...
When charging your vehicle's battery with a charger like the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger # CTEK56353 you will want to connect the charger directly to the battery. A great option if the battery is difficult to access is to use the included eyelet-terminal attachment system with the Comfort Connect end plug to connect the battery to the CTEK charger.

The only instance of anything needing trimming I've encountered with the installation of the Curt # C11367 on a BMW 3-series is a few folks asking about trimming the heat shield.
Per the instructions, the heat shield is to be removed and left off. The hitch itself will act as the heat shield, and since the hitch is constructed of much heavier steel than the heat shield, removing it and leaving it off will cause zero issues.
Per Cut (and as we found when we installed it) no trimming of... view full answer...
Curt states that the heat shield needs to be removed to install the Curt Hitch part # C11367.
According to Curt, the heat shield that's removed in step 2 is NOT reinstalled. Once the hitch is in place, there is no longer room for the heat shield, and the hitch actually does a much better job as a heat shield than the thin piece of metal would. If there's a possibility you might remove the hitch later to sell or trade in the vehicle, you can keep the heat shield for later reinstallation.... view full answer...

The inertia sensor is inside of the main unit of the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System # BLU37TR, not in the remote. The same as the Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494.
While not recommended, the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System # BLU37TR can be used without the RF controller if deemed necessary. But, it is recommended to use the controller for the operational feedback. view full answer...
The ZCI Zero-Contact Interface 4-Pole Wiring Harness Kit # 119250KIT is a universal-fit wiring harness that can work on almost any vehicle without need to cut into the vehicle wiring. I contacted Horizon Global and they advised me that removing the heat shield on your 2016 BMW 328i is acceptable, so you can safely go with the Curt # C11367.
I also recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. The wiring harness has a converter box that will protect back feed from the trailer to your vehicles factory wiring if there is a short by blocking the connection between the two. I always recommend following the instruction however,... view full answer...
While the only way you can verify exactly which wire is which on your specific 2014 BMW 328d XDrive is by contacting a dealer with the VIN or testing. We did install a similar 4-Way # 119250KIT on a 2018 which sounds like it has similar colored wires. I have linked the install video below which will hopefully help you with your installation as well.

I understand your worry. However, the Curt Hitch for the 2017 BMW 330i and 2018 430i, part # C11367, do need to be removed for the installation.
There is good news, though.
According to Curt, the hitch will act as a heat shield in itself and do a much better job since the hitch is constructed of a much heavier steel. Also, the heat shield can be trimmed after being removed so it can be reinstalled. That's not necessary to do since the hitch will do a better job, but it is still an option.

Hidden Hitch was a brand name that's now defunct, not a description of how visible the hitch is or isn't. Luckily enough, in this case, the hitch crossbar is well concealed behind the bumper fascia so that the only visible portion of the hitch from the rear would be the receiver opening and the safety chain loops, as you can see in the diagram I've provided.
Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite are manufactured by the same parent company, Horizon Global. The hitches are identical with the exception... view full answer...

If you'll be using the hitch as an attachment point for a bike rack or other hitch mounted accessory only, the Draw-Tite Class I hitch, part # 24857 would be a good choice.
If you're using the hitch as an attachment point for a bike rack, you'll need to make sure your bike rack is compatible with a Class I hitch, and that you're carrying no more than two bikes.
