Question:
What tools do I need to install this? Will I have to have the car lifted? What level of expertise is needed? Is there a bike rack you recommend to use with this hitch?

The tools that you will need to install this Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with Drawbar, part # 11771, are:
Ratchet
10mm socket
18mm socket
3/4 inch socket
5/16 inch open end/box wrench
5/8 inch open end/box wrench
11/16 open end/box wrench
18mm open end/box wrench
small disk grinder
torque wrench
For the best possible access you will want to have your vehicle lifted with either a car-lift or a jack. If you use a jack make sure to secure the vehicle with jack stands. As long as you have basic skills with sockets, wrenches, torque wrenches, and a disk grinder you should be able to accomplish this install.
For a bike rack I would recommend you get a Thule Camber, part # TH9058. I included a review video for this product below for you to check out to see some of this hitches features. I also included installation instructions for this product below.
If you plan on carrying womens or alternative framed bikes you would also need a Thule Womens and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter Bar, part # TH982XT. I attached a review video for this product below for you to check out also.
