Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side tail light. You will have to remove the tail light assembly to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Great harness it did what I wanted it to. I was putting a 2nd set of break lights on my Jeep Wrangler with reverse. As you can see from the pictures the install went well and they look great. Customer service was very knowledgeable and helpful

Patrick, I received the order on time and the product was a quality item and installation was a breeze. Installed the hitch on my jeep and the wiring harness in less than 20 minutes.
Easy to install, no need to cut wires or break any tab. I bought an « L » bracket and attached it on the Draw Titr hitch and the final look is close to an OEM quality.

CUSTOMER WAS HAPPY WE FIXED THE PROBLEM.
Just like the YouTube video, it was super easy to install. Product description was accurate and harness works great! I'd highly recommend. The only negative I would say is that the information wasn't that detailed when tracking the shipment, but I'm also one of those that likes to know exactly where my shipment is. Easy plug and play for my vehicle.
I won't deal with another company!!, you folks as always at least for me, beat the delivery date! The only issue I had and the tech I spoke with said it wasn't possible, was to have a way to have the rear plug work when I tow a trailer with the jeep and not have to switch plugs when I tow the jeep with my motor coach

Now it wont cause the right side jeep lights to illuminate when connected!
Talk about no headache with wiring. This was great for my jeep the only issue I had was finding a drill bit long enough to reach the metal inside the light housing to ground the wire. Other than that everything was super clean and straight to the point. I have a 2010 jeep wrangler sport.

Product has been wonderful no issues at all. I use it a lot and very happy I ordered it.
I installed this as part of adding a trailer controller and 7-pin connector; it was needed for some of the 7-pin wiring. This was explained clearly by the eTrailer order taker, who was very helpful. I've written a review of the whole installation for the Universal Installation Kit (ETBC7), but wanted to add a review for this specific part.
This was the easiest part of the whole installation. Simply remove the tail light on my Wrangler, disconnect the wiring, plug this in between the wire and tail light assembly, attach the ground wire, route the connector to the right place, and it's good to go. There's no way to connect anything wrong, short of forgetting to connect it at all, and everything is sturdy and simple.
Wiring harness is performing as expected. etrailer is great.

As good as new!
I was very happy with the harness -- it installed quite easily in spite of the fact that I had wired the Jeep up to be towed by my RV years before. This meant that I had already spliced in with wires and diodes, and the cavity behind the tail light was filled with dirt and dried mud from stream crossings made during the past 10 years. Anyway, after getting rid of the dirt and stuff, I found the connector plug shown in the directions and a couple of clicks and everything worked as advertised. I would recommend getting the bracket for mounting the female receptacle at the hitch -- it bolted right up. Also, get some longer zip ties to secure the harness to the frame and keep it away from the muffler.
Good instructions, easily installed. Took me less than 1 hour since you just plug it right into your current light. Running the wires is also easy since their is an opening inside the light area.

No problems! Works great.
I ordered a trailer hitch (Item #75515) and related wiring harness (Item 118416) and bracket for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I followed the installation directions in the You-tube video, and was able to install the hitch, wiring harness and bracket without a problem. My local Jeep Dealership wanted $495 for parts and installation. I paid just a little over $100.00 for the parts from etrailer. My order arrived quickly, and I was impressed with the high quality of the parts. Nice job etrailer.
The curt hitch products I ordered were excellent and a very good value. Install easy but, with my vehicle the muffler had to be lowered and two holes in the frame enlarged to fit the bolts.
The wiring harness was another brand and was easy to install. I routes the 4 wat flat connector to the purchased bracket and mounted directly into the rear frame
The receiver Pin & lock seem to be good quality and the lock attaches quickly and easily
Note - The packaging could have been much better. Other than the curt hitch which was in its own box some items were loose in the box. Two opened items and nothing was packed tight inside the box. Example- the keys and lock cover were missing from the pkg and I found them in the packing material.

The only issue that I had was difficulty finding a place to drill and attach the white ground wire. Basically a plug and play harness. I wish that I had ordered a mounting bracket. The one that is on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is a bit large and the plug is too small to stay put once it is in the bracket. Will manufacture something to hold the plug so that it stays in place.
After one year, wire harness is still holding up and i use my trailer weekly with Lights!
