Can Tekonsha Harness and Hopkins Towed Vehicle Wiring Kit be Used on 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
I have a 2107 jeep unlimited wrangler w/o tow wiring. I do have installed a HM56200 for towing jeep behind a motohome. I now want to tow a utility trailer behind jeep. Since I have already plugged the Hm56200 into Drivers rear light can i simply plug the #118416 into the same light??

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118416 referenced in your question, which is confirmed to fit your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, will indeed work in conjuction with the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit # HM56200 that you already have installed. The two harnesses will simply plug into one another and then "T" into the built-in ports behind the Jeep's tail lights. In terms of functionality, there is absolutely no issue with this and both wiring harnesses will work great.
The only potential issue when doing this is the amount of space you have available between the back of the tail light and vehicle body. Since you will now have multiple harnesses back there, space might be a bit limited and you may just need some additional zip ties or electrical tape to position them out of the way.
I have attached an installation video for this T-One harness on your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that you can use for reference.
