This red LED light serves as either a side marker light or a clearance light. The light gives your truck or trailer a distinctive look that's completely street legal. This Optronics GloLight has a unique solid light pattern when lit, so your lights stand out from the rest. Optronics GloLights are a great way to add both style and value to your truck or trailer.
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.
Recessed-mount trailer lights install with a grommet, which is often sold separately. These lights extend past the trailer surface and require a hole for installation. If replacing a light, you can utilize the pre-existing hole. If installing a new light, you will need to cut a hole or use a mounting bracket (sold separately) to complete the installation.

This small round trailer light can function as both a clearance light, and a side marker light when properly mounted. This one features a glow light lens, which simply creates a solid light pattern with a smooth appearance. It is sealed, so it has a waterproof construction, which is submersible. It features durable surface mount technology when it comes to the construction of the LED circuit board, and it is a LED system. Which LED's make great replacements for incandescent lights, they last longer, they burn brighter, they're more efficient.
With LED's you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.This one does have a durable polycarbonate housing and acrylic lens. It's a recessed mount installation with the included mounting grommet. Your installation area requires a 3/4" diameter hole, and it's a two wire design so white wire is the ground wire, black wire is the power wire. It's Department of Transportation compliant. It's PT rated, it contains a single diode or a single LED and it measures 3/4" by 7/8" deep.
We're going to go and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. We'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low light setting. So you can see here it sends out a really nice consistent signal. Again, it has the glo light lens which creates a solid light pattern with a smooth appearance. The power draw at 12.8 volts is 0.04 amps.

I installed GloLight Mini LED clearance lights on a flatbed I fabricated for an older GMC K3500, truck. The lights continue to function as they should. I am happy with my purchase.
This is a fantastic little light. I've bought off brands before and the wire is so thin you know it's not going to last very long. The wires on this light are normal gauge (about 16g) and very easy to solder and connect. Very confident it will hold up to abuse of off roading.
And it is bright! I use these for marker lights and turn signals. No issues seeing them during the day.

Nicely replaced my burnt out marker lig ht.
Bought this to replace the front corner markers/running lights in my GM truck. Since the OEM setup combines the marker and signal function into one filament, I couldn’t just plug in an LED “bulb”. I trimmed the housing to fit the rubber grommet for this uni-lite and with some wiggling got it to fit nicely. Rewired the truck to provide separate running light and signal wires and everything has been working great.

I like small marker lights. Easily seen without being overwhelmingly bright which can cause glare. I've had great experience with the quality of Optronics; with less expensive brands not so much.
Don't let the small size fool you, these little lights are pretty bright. You need to be spot on with the diameter of hole you drill that these lights recess into.
Excellent to have a marker light in a 3 wire to put a blinker on the fender of the trailer too.

Not very good turn signal it has very little blinking so not warning people next to trailer.
