etrailer gave me a real run around on this order it was put on hold then was reordered and was put on hold again till I had to go back and ask them to reorder it if there was a problem with my card (you can not pay cash in this world anymore)-why is it both persons I talked to in a chat room had no difficulties reordering the hitch? even if the first one never ordered the thing ,please tell Nichole who straightened out the issues she saved the day I was 1/4 inch away from finding someone else to buy the hitch from.1375816

It came when they said it would and everything was in the package that I needed. Always recommend the videos that they have as the directions are too brief to understand very well. When they say that an extra pair of hands would be very helpful they weren't kidding. I did this by myself and it was difficult to line up correctly without that extra pair of hands. also cleaning out the bolt holes that were open for however long you have owned your car is very important. I was able to put it on without help. overall very well. easier to put on than I would have thought. the first time for me. I would buy again from these guys657908

The hitch itself is very robust and well made. Wish I could have had a 2" however.1651598

Installed on a 2003 Toyota Avalon XLS. This hitch is perfect for my needs, and it fits exactly as it should.

It can be easily installed by one person. I used a toolbox to prop up the drivers side while I maneuvered the passenger side into position. Get the bolts started and move to the other side to do the same thing. No problem. It probably took me a half hour total.

The instructions provided are right on, no issues at all.

Customer service was top notch. The free shipping was an added bonus, the packages actually arrived 2 days earlier than anticipated. Bonus for me, I had the whole weekend to do the install.1482916

Everything worked exactly as stated. Pulled a 10 foot UHaul box type trailer fully loaded over 500 miles. No problems, none. Installed it myself with the instructions and help of a video explaining the process. First time for me in my 67 years to install a hitch. It bolted right in the first time with no problems. I would buy again, and am glad to recommend, with confidence, this product.

Installed this yesterday. Looks great and feels solid and it's ready to go. I installed it without an assistant, but I don't recommend that approach. I wasn't able to get the driver side weld-nuts cleaned out well enough with a brush, so I bought a 10 mm -1.25 tap and that worked fine. I haven't used the hitch yet, but I've had good service from Draw-Tite receivers on other vehicles so I'm confident in the product.1282833

I have ordered 2 hitches from etrailer.com, one for a 2009 Honda Accord and most recently for a 2002 Toyota Avalon, and I have been very pleased with both. This particular hitch was very easy to install on the 2002 Avalon and took only about 40 minutes as described. I have already used it and everything worked great.77011

The hitch looked as advertised and all the fasteners were provided. The hitch fit quite well and was easy to install after all the preparations. Main issue in my case was cleaning the 13 year old threads - I got the tube brush but that was not effective. Had to get a thread tap to clean those up. Also got a good quality drill bit to make the needed holes. Was pleased with the final outcome. 227744

The hitch and wiring kit arrived quickly and were an exact fit for our 2002 Toyota Avalon. The video on the website helped make the installation easy and both the wiring and hitch work great. The only section of the hitch visible is the receiver, which helps keep the car looking nice.201051

The hitch was bent on the left side when we pulled it out of the box. We had to use a 3lb sledgehammer to straighten the bracket so we could install. Other then that it was an easy installation. I am very satisfied with the hitch870234

GREAT product. Only two new holes in my frame and this installed in less than two hours. You only notice the small square of the hitch and can't see any of the brace. Pulls my Hobie like a champ!
