On the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 36293, there is no mount hole for a hitch ball. You will need to get a ball mount that will go into the hitch receiver and give you the location where the hitch ball will be mounted.
This hitch is for a 2000 to 2004 Toyota Avalon. For the Toyota Avalon you will need the recommended ball mount for that hitch, which is the Draw-Tite Ball Mount, # 36051. It will come with the pin and clip.
The hitch ball you will need is the Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, # 19258, or the Tow Ready Hitch Ball, # 19256 .
The wiring harness needed for the Toyota Avalon is the Wiring Harness, # C59496. It will connect to behind the vehicles taillights and give you a 4-Way connector at the rear of your vehicle.
I am sending a video link of this wiring harness being installed on a Kia Soul. It is a different vehicle but the wiring principle is still the same for your vehicle.
Also, I am sending a link to the installation instructions for the Draw-Tite trailer hitch.
