This fully welded, corrosion-resistant vehicle trailer hitch receiver is perfect for your light-duty towing needs. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee ensures that this hitch exceeds industry standards. Drawbar sold separately.

Specs:
Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

This fully welded, corrosion-resistant vehicle trailer hitch receiver is perfect for your light-duty towing needs. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee ensures that this hitch exceeds industry standards. Drawbar sold separately.Hatch is very solid. No issues while driving. Held the trailer frim. Lend itself for backing up. Traveled over 500 miles with no issues. Money well spen. Will recommend to other people.
Second one of these I bought from etrailer, since I got a different car and needed another one. No poroblems with either.
I love my hitch , but I need help trying to wire a 4 pin connector and it all tests good ,when I plug into either of 2 trailers no turn signals or brake lights , do you carry a kit for wiring my 09 Suzuki sx4 ?
Excellent service and shipping from etrailer and pretty quick and easy installation. Took about 40 minutes from start to finish. Watch a video online and follow instructions and anyone will be able to do this.
Only thing that would make this better was the safety tab inside the hitch was too close for the Yakima bike rack I own. Fixed with a punch and a hammer - not ideal but it works. Hitch is super solid with rack and two 40lb downhill mountain bikes loaded, even at speed on my town's pothole riddled streets.
Good quality, fits perfectly on my sx4, great communication with the seller. Good experience!!!
Very easy to install. Had to buy a one inch hole drill but after that it went very smooth. The wire that attached to the bolt is very cleaver. Makes getting the bolts into the frame rail simple.
I'll be using it to carry bikes back and forth to a trail. And it's hardly visible when you walk by the car.
I'm very happy with my Suzuki SX4 receiver, it looks very stout.
well built hitch does what it's ment to
It arrived when etrailer said it would and I installed it in less than an hour. I was happy to find what I was looking for at etrailer because I've done business with them in the past and I really like them.

Easy to install. Fit well.
Install for my Suzuki SX4 was challenging, but simple and straightforward. The instructions called for a 1” steel bit which cost about 30 dollars. The 1” was NOT big enough for the washers to fit through but we reamed out the sides of the hole slightly and the washer could squeeze through. You may want to purchase a 1 1/8” bit or a step bit. Once you’ve drilled the hole make sure you put the correct bolt and washer in the frame because I did not and it was nearly impossible to remove the washer and bolt from the frame. There are 3 sets of bolts and rectangular washers. The bolt and washer with the biggest square hole go in the center of the hitch mount and the smaller two go into the frame of the car. The best way I found to get them in was to use the provided wires that attach to the end of the bolt, fish the wire through the washer and through the hoIe you drilled into the frame then through the smaller existing hole, and then finally pull the washer and bolt through one at a time. I did not have to remove any of the exhaust assembly to get the hitch mount installed. I simply maneuvered and wiggled it into place once the bolts and washers were in. I left the wires on the bolts until I had the hitch mount in place and then pinched the base of the bolt with some needle nose pliers while I threaded the nut and washer onto the bolt. If you remove the wire and accidentally push the bolt up into the frame are screwed so be careful during this part of the install. Once all three bolts and washers are installed you are done! Hope this helps someone ??
e trailer to the rescue again. Nice folks good service and prompt shipping. Got my hitch on Friday but put off installation until Monday, broken thumb.
Everything went as instructed with the exception of the spacers that go inside the frame. I drilled a 1 in. hole as instructed only to find that the spacers would not fit through a 1 in. hole. The spacers are 1 in. wide and the thickness makes them bigger than the hole. I ground a little off one side on my bench grinder and they fit fine. Suggest you use a little larger hole saw if you don't have a grinder.
I used a Dewalt hole saw from Lowes, $5.00, and had no problem with drilling the frame. Overall pretty easy even with a broken thumb.
Great hitch receiver! Easy install. From start to finish, it took me about an hour to install by myself. Have towed a 5X8 trailer with it and a bike rack. Never a problem to date. Highly recommend!
Really straight-forward install. The toughest part is getting the exhaust lowered by removing the rubber hangers. They can get really sticky sometimes. I spray a little WD-40 on them and they come off easier then. Other than that the rest is very very easy. I know it sounds basic but make sure to use the proper hole saw for cutting metal and use some WD-40 when cutting as well. Drill at a lower speed and don't try to drill too fast or you may burn your mandrel or saw. Slow and steady wins the race when cutting metal. Hitch looks good and works great!
This is a solid and simple unit. I installed the same unit on the same model car 3 years ago, just enough time to think you recall but don't really. Cutting the 1" access hole is the biggest pain, but that is a Suzuki issue not Draw-Tite. The one issue I have with the design of the hitch is that it appears to angle downwards, really hangs below the bumper once the receiver bar is in. I noticed this on the last car also.
Shipped quickly, delivered late due to snowstorm. Ready to install and found pull wires were for the wrong size bolt. Called etrailer, the representative was very helpful. Parts were supplied by drawtite, not etrailers fault but very frustrating. etrailer rep went out of his way to make sure correct pull wires were sent. Next day at 10 am FedEx delivered an overnight envelope containing the correct wires. Again this was not etrailers fault but to have the replacement parts delivered next day is extraordinary service. etrailer clearly delivers exceptional service, I highly recommend them.
Hitch fit perfectly with all instructions accurate and straightforward. My second hitch purchased through eTrailer. Fast and free shipping, good communication, best price for this hitch kit. I also like that the fish wires to pull the bolts through the frame tubes are included. In the past, I have had to improvise my own.
Ordered yesterday, arrived today, installed this eve. 1 hour tops. Stopped at menards and spent about 13 bucks on 1 inch hole drill bit and together it went. Using wd40 definitely helps drop the exhaust and remember face protection if drilling in to metal whilst looking up. I used 3 in 1 oil on the drill bit which seemed to help..
Otherwise great work by etrailer.com for speed of delivery and such a useful site for sorting which hitch I needed! Definitely buying from again and recommending to friends!
Drawtite installJust installed the drawtite hitch and wiring harness on my 2011 Suzuki SX4 Crossover. It took me about 2 hours to do it all.Very easy to install the hitch and the wiring harnes.Fit and finish very good. Wiring harness plug and play. etrailer was a pleasure to do business with. It was a very good experience all the way around.
Hitch arrived earlier than expected and was very easy to install once I ground down the rectangle bars that go in the 1" holes. They were just slightly larger, so needed a little trimming. The hitch itself is good quality and appears to be very rugged. Glad I had an electric bench grinder available.
I only got it for my bike rack and it works good for that
Overall all great product and fast shipping. The hardest part of the process was drilling the holes. Having a second pair of hands is handy too, help hold the hitch steady while you put the bolts in. Over all about 40min or so to do job.
Received my hitch today and will endeavor to complete the install tomorrow, the instructions look pretty simple. I have purchased from etrailer.com numerous times in the past and have always been pleased to find the product to fit my needs. Service has always been A+ and the prices the best around. Thanks again etrailer.com.
Mounted up great! Be careful not to push the bolt into the frame, and much like others, I too had to use a bench grinder to grind down the 1" bracket to fit through the new 1" frame hole. Aside from pushing the bolt back through the frame, it was relatively easy. Would take about an hour with no issues.
Just installed on my SX4. The install went well, i appreciated the onlinevideos which were very helpful. The wiring was a challenge, but I got er done. It took a while longer than I thought, but I was a first timer. Shipping was fast and communication was great. Thanks
This hitch is beautiful and well made...only glitch was the parts that go into the frame and hold the carriage bolts were nowhere near one inch...I had to grind a lot to get them to fit but when they did it was nothing to finish the project....
