    No, you will not need to do any modifications to the Curt Hitch - 2-1/2" # C96CR in order to fit a hitch pin. Since the C96CR does not come with a pin, it is always a good idea to have a locking hitch pin for extra theft-deterrence if you are planning to attach a trailer or accessory.
