Will Curt Trailer Hitch Fit If I Remove the OEM Hitch Off of My 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
Hello. I read through the questions, but can’t find a direct answer. The factory hitch on my 2020 Chevy 3500 Silverado cracked and broke. Will this hitch fit? I noticed that it says that is for trucks without factory hitch. This one bolts under the frame as most do, but the factory hitch actually slides into the frame rails. I just want to know if this will fit after i remove the factory hitch. Thanks

Yes, as long as you remove all of the OEM hardware and brackets the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C96CR will fit your 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 without any issues. This does install a little differently though as it secures to the bottom of the frame rail instead of having the brackets inserted into the frame rail like your current hitch.
Attached is a link to the installation instructions for you to check out.
