What is the Best Hitch for a Bike Rack on a 2024 Ford Bronco?
Question:
What is the best hitch for a bike rack? I have a 2024 Ford Bronco and I need a hitch but I am worried about the spare tire?

Expert Reply:
The best hitch for a bike rack on your 2024 Ford Bronco is the Draw-Tite item # DT37GR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Bronco's bumper with included hardware.
The Draw-Tite item # DT37GR was specifically designed with a longer receiver to clear your spare tire. The hitch pin hole extends 7" past the outside edge of your Bronco's bumper. It extends 6" farther than the Curt item # C76WR you were looking at. This hitch also has the highest capacity available amongst Bronco hitches. It has a 4,500 lbs towing capacity and a 675 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I have attached a couple dimensional drawings along with a picture of this hitch installed so you can see how far the receiver extends compared to the spare tire.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C59236 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
