  The Curt hitch part # C15801 that you referenced has a tongue weight capacity of 2,700 lbs and normally using a hitch adapter cuts that by 50 percent so you'd most likely have a capacity of 1,350 lbs but for a longer hitch extension the capacity reduction would be more and you'd have to check it to be sure.
