The trailer hitch is tucked nicely under the car so it's not blaringly obvious. I bought this so I could use a bike rack. Since buying it and having it installed, I've used it once. With my bike rack, it's a little tricky getting the pin through the holes.1588238

The trailer hitch receiver along with it's instructions laid out the process needed to prep the car to receive the components. The install kit also provided a braided wire tool to allow threading a bolt up into the cars frame thru a small opening no ones hands could go thru. Exponentially simplifying the process. All bolting patterns matched the cars frame making the install quick. A plan came together nicely. Hitch works great.1569107

My hitch purchase was to allow hook up for a (2) bike Mast Style Carrier on my 2016 Buick Envision. The hitch is very sturdy and I have no doubt it will perform this intended function for the vehicle's lifetime. Hitch fit and installation completed as per written instructions and the installation video. I needed no lifts or jacks for the install. The install time was in line with the time estimated for a novice installer. I see no reason to rate the product anything less than excellent and would recommend purchase to others that are considering this product. 829243

I can only echo what another reviewer said...bulletproof etrailer.com packing box, with hand holds, and amazingly well secured product inside. Install went well, and didn't take long. Reading about the product before it arrived, I was dreading having to thread the bolt through the frame holes, but the wire was threaded on the end to securely attach to the bolt end, and was stiff and springy, making the install a snap. I had already hung the hitch on the two frame studs with the nuts loosely secured, so I threaded the bolt through the frame and the hitch at the same time. Good instructions, really glad I got this product....not to mention the price was lower than anywhere else, with free shipping!381540

The hitch, (item: C13292) was shipped very quickly and the packaging was excellent. The packing box came with nicely placed holes to easily hand carry it. Very clear instructions with pictures were included. I use ramps under the rear tires to have some elbow room. The hitch install only took around 30 actual minutes and it fits like a glove. Very pro looking. I also got the vehicle specific wiring harness. The wiring harness fit perfectly. I am highly pleased with the overall experience and with etrailer.com great prices. Thanks!
I am not including any pictures as once you have it installed, it is all but invisible. Actually, it is invisible because my Buick Envision has a bumper cut out cover plate to hide the hitch receiver area and the bumper is hiding the rest of the hitch. Never would know a hitch was installed without crawling under the car and looking. Super happy with it! Thanks again.345417

I received my Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on Friday Evening. Just 2 days after ordering! On Saturday Morning, with a little assist from my son we installed the receiver following the instructions and the video. Took 30 minutes from start to finish. I love that the original cover goes right back on to hide the hitch when not in use.

The receiver Hitch C13292 for 2017 Buick Envision is very well Fabricated. Being a former weld inspector found all welds to be very sufficient for the strength needed to hold receiver together for all possible towing needs per the specs provided by Curt and etrailer on this fabrication. Order to turn over was very quick along with a very well constructed box for shipping. No scratches, tears or pierced places on this Box. Internal fabrication and parts were in very good shape and order.426946

I am going on seventy three years old. As such I raised the rear of the vehicle with a four by four under each wheel. Once I had jacked the rear up and placed the four by fours to give more working room, it took me roughly an hour to install the hitch and the wiring harness. My vehicle was pre-wired for a trailer. Thus the install of the wiring harness was mostly just plugging it in and routing it to where I wanted it.

I did find that torquing the hitch nuts was somewhat difficult because of the tight work area, but it was doable.

Hitch is very well made. I was very nervous with the fish wire technique thinking it would get hung up but it worked great. Follow the directions very carefully and dont get ahead of yourself. It took me about an hour and I didnt use ramps or jacks. The electrical harness was very easy. Great customer support! This hitch works on both the 2.5 and 2.0 litre Envisions.644246
