Drawbar sold separately.The hitch arrived just in time for the weekend and fit absolutely perfectly. Curt had not listed the Audi S6 as a supported vehicle but the A6 hitch has clearance for the S6 dual exhaust pipes.
I’ve installed hitches before, but nothing shocked me more than how easy it was to install this on my 2008 Audi A6. Directions said to drop the exhaust at the front of the car in addition to the 2 muffler mounts in the back, so I dutifully bought a T55 bit and prepared for a long morning project. But with only a minimal amount of effort, I was able to install the hitch with only removing the four muffler mount nuts! Whole thing took less than 30 minutes with no assistance. Amazing!
Very good packing, delivery in time.
The ordering process was smooth, the installation on my A6 Avant was easy, only concern is that it now rubs when I back out of the driveway. Will have to get used to it. Otherwise seems to be a great product and I will be testing it out on a long trip, with a bike rack, very soon.
