Will the Redline Flush Mounted Door Latch L1833 Open from the Inside When Locked
Question:
Can this latch be opened using the inside release knob when the lock is locked? Or does the lock prevent opening from the inside as well?

I ran out to the warehouse, and pulled one of the door latches, part # L1833 off the shelf. I can confirm that the latch will indeed open using the inside knob when the latch is in the locked position.
