Magnetic LED Tow Lights

A towed vehicle is required by law to have functional brake and signal lights that illuminate at the same time as the brake and signal lights on the motorhome or RV that is towing it. These removable tow lights make it easy to add running lights, brake lights, and turn signals to your towed car or trailer.

Simply mount the lights on your vehicle's trunk or roof with the heavy-duty magnetic bases. A 63" long section of wiring connects the tow lights, giving you enough slack to position the lights where you want them. Then run the 245" long wiring harness up to the front of your towed vehicle and across your tow bar and connect it to the 4-way flat on your RV.

If your RV doesn't have a trailer connector, then you can wire the extra 35" long 4-way harness that comes with this kit to your RV. And if your RV has a 6-way or 7-way trailer connector, an adapter (sold separately) will be required to connect the tow lights to your RV.

Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

The wiring length should be increased by at least five feet. We have a small vehicle and still needed to use an extension. Otherwise it is a terrific solution.

by:

Have not used yet but I think it will be great

by:

Bought these magnetic trailer lights for my hitch-mounted e-bike rack. With two bikes on the rack, the rear car lights are partly obscured. These lights attach firmly to the rack with the magnets but I will secure them with straps as the rack surface is rounded. Plenty bright. Haven’t gone any distance yet, but I will drive reassured that the cars behind will better see my braking and turning.

These work fine and are bright. I plant them behind my toad's roof rack and add a little duck tape for security. I have lost other ones before. It may be overkill on these as magnet is good.

I've seen magnetic tow lights before but not like these LED's. As soon as they arrived I opened them up, checked them out and they are very well built, the magnets seem very firm and they are BRIGHT. The video on the ETrailer site does no represent how bright these light are in my opinion. Very pleased with the quality and how visible these lights are.

Great product, just as described. I am using it on my kayak trailer to replace the original incadescent lights.

  • Recommendation For Flat Towing A 2004 Honda CRV
I certainly understand your desire to keep the cost to flat tow your 2004 Honda CRV as low as possible. Unfortunately, flat towing any vehicle requires a lot of parts which makes flat towing fairly expensive. What I am recommending is not the most inexpensive way to flat tow but it is the most effective at a reasonable price. To flat tow your 2004 Honda CRV, you will need base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, wiring, a braking system, and maybe a high-low hitch adapter. For base...

  • Will The Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar Work on a 2010 Hyundai Tucson?
To use your Roadmaster StowMaster # RM-501 on your 2010 Hyundai Tucson you will need to find a Roadmaster base plate kit 1628-1 as we no longer carry this. If you are unable to find this I recommend using the Demco Base Plate # DM9518277 with our etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e34ZR. You will need a Wiring Kit # RM-15267 if you do not already have Magnetic Tow Lights # TLL21RK you use with your other vehicle. The options for wiring/lighting kits for towing the van behind your Beaver motor coach can be seen by clicking on the link provided. The Beaver website does not include wiring diagrams for its Class A, B, C or 5th wheel RVs but I was able to find a wiring diagram for the van by doing a Google search on the phrase '2010 Chrysler Tow and Country wiring diagram'. This may well also appear in your owner's manual. These choices include diode kits like the Roadmaster # 154-792-118158 and magnetic...

  • Items Needed to Flat Tow 2013 Honda CR-V Behind Class A Motor Home
Flat towing a vehicle requires 5 essential components: a tow bar, safety cables, base plates, a wiring/lighting kit and a supplementary braking system, which is now required by law in most states. The linked article covers in detail each of these items and the available options. This will be a good starting point to familiarize yourself with the basics of flat towing, or dinghy towing as it is also known. As a general note, it is often easier (and less costly) to stay with one brand of...

There are 5 basic components that you will need to flat tow your 2002 Chevrolet Tracker behind your 2006 Winnebago Adventurer. You will need base plates, a tow bar, a wiring kit, safety cables and a supplemental braking system. You would only want a fuse bypass switch if your vehicle requires fuses to be pulled when flat towing. To determine this, I recommend checking your owners manual under the recreational towing section. From my research, I could not find any information that showed...

While we do offer adapters to mate different brands of tow bars and base plates, the adapter required for your tow bar is rated only to 5000-lbs and your Envoy's gross weight is roughly 6400-lbs according to my research. • Solution for Blocked Tail Lights When Using Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack

I have a suggestion for you, but unfortunately, we're not going to have a hitch mounted bike rack for electric bikes that's going to fit into your budget. Most of our e-bike racks max out at 60 lbs per bike, so your least expensive options are going to be either the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR, with a capacity of 70 lbs per bike, or the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY74FR, with a capacity of 80 lbs per bike -- both over budget. To flat-tow your Hyundai Santa Fe you need 5 items. You will need base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, lighting for the towed vehicle, and most states now require supplemental brake systems. As long as your TrailBlazer's gross weight is within the hitch (and motorhome) towing capacity then you can tow the vehicle. There is an important difference between dolly towing and tow bar towing.
