Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this VIAIR Expedition onboard air compressor with this 2 1/2 gallon tank. This 150 psi onboard air system, powered by this model 444C stealth black compressor, is going to let you fill up virtually any vehicle tire up to 37 inches quickly and easily. This pre-packaged air solution, it's gonna come with all of the necessary components that you need to install a working system that's going to be useful for multiple pneumatic applications, such as your air tools, air lockers, blowing and cleaning tasks, inflating recreational equipment, air horns, and many others. Now, a system like this is especially great if you enjoy off-roading.

Typically, before you hit the trail in your off-road vehicle, it is a good idea to deflate your tires to get more traction and a better ride on the trail. But then when it's time to head home, you need to air your tires back up. So, with an onboard air system like this, that's not going to be a problem. You are always going to have air when you need it. Now, this compressor features a maximum airflow of 2.12 cfm, which will fill this included 2 1/2 gallon tank from zero psi to 200 psi in a little under five minutes.

Of course, this is going to wire into your 12 volt system. It has a maximum amp draw of 23 amps and an IP rating of 67. This also features a thermal overload protector that's going to automatically shut the compressor down if it overheats. And the duty cycle is 100% at 100 psi, which translates into one hour of run time at 100 psi before the compressor needs to rest. This also in includes this 30 foot long braided coil with quick connect and this stud that's going to allow for various attachments.

I do wanna point out that you are going to receive a small storage bag for that braided coil hose. So, when this is not in use, you can easily store it in this bag and that's going to keep it together, keep it clean, and keep it from getting damage while it is stowed away. This also includes a tire inflation gun with a 180 psi digital gauge that's going to allow for precise measuring when inflating or deflating your tires. Batteries are included to power this gauge. And then you are going to get this rubber tipped blow gun that's going to help in cleaning applications, blowing out dust and debris from small areas and crevices.

So, that's also included with this kit along with this 90 degree, 40 inch long twist-on air hose chuck that's going to give you that extra reach. And then an illuminated dash panel that we have right here. And this is going to allow you to turn the system on and off. Of course, it has that illuminated gauge where you can see it in low light or dark conditions. And so, this is going to also be included with all the wiring necessary to install that successfully. And then talking about storage bags, you do get another storage bag here that's going to be great for just throwing in some of the extra components when you're not using it. Again, keeping those items free from getting easily damaged and keeping it really accessible for whenever you need it as well. So, this includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get all of the hardware that you need to install this. You are also going to receive this heavy-duty, universal mounting plate. Speaking of hardware, this plate does not come with the hardware to mount this on your vehicle. So, depending on how you mount this or where you mount this, you will have to get the appropriate hardware to mount this plate, but you will get hardware for everything else to install this system. You're going to get the plumbing parts, the electrical components. And so, this is going to be a complete kit for you. Also, you are going to receive instructions to go a little more in depth than what we could do today with each of the parts of this kit and then also walk you through the installation process.
