Hi everybody, Andy here with the etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this VIAIR Escapade Constant-Duty Onboard Compressor with Extruded Tank. Now this 150 PSI onboard air system is going to let you fill up your vehicle tires quickly and easily. It will inflate vehicle tires up to 37 inches and this is also capable of air locker actuation for improved performance on the road. Now a system like this is going to be especially great for you if you enjoy off-roading. Typically before you hit the trail in your off-road vehicle, it's a good idea to deflate your tires to get more traction and a better ride on the trail.

But then when it's time to head home, you need to air up your tires again. So, with an onboard air compressor system like this, that's not going to be a problem. You are always going to have air when you need it. This 450 C compressor features a maximum airflow of 1.80 cfm and this extruded aluminum tank holds 0.33 gallons, and that's going to give you air to actuate your air lockers. This also features a thermal overload protector that's going to automatically shut the compressor down if it overheats.

And the duty cycle is 100% at 100 psi which translates into one hour of run time at 100 psi before the compressor needs to rest. Now, I took some measurements of this compressor earlier, the overall length, and I'm not including the connection points here, just the compressor itself. We are sitting right at nine and 7/16 inches long. And then the overall width at the widest point, we are sitting right at four inches wide. And then the overall height, we are sitting right at six and three quarters inches tall.

This weighs about 12 and a half pounds. And of course this is going to work with your 12 volt system, and this has a maximum amp draw of 23 amps. And this includes the pressure switch with relay and the battery lead wire with fuse holder. And this also includes some fuses. And overall this has an IP rating of 67.

Now this also includes this 30 foot long coiled hose with the quick connect and stud that's going to let you connect various attachments. So, it's going to be very easy to connect and disconnect, you can see here. So, and then this also comes with this tire inflation gun with a 160 psi gauge. It's going to allow for precise measuring when inflating or deflating your tires. And then this also comes with a carrying bag, a storage bag. And this is going to be a nice way to store your 30 foot coiled hose and the tire inflation gun, trying to get that open there for you. So, it's got plenty of room for your coiled hose and your inflation gun. That's going to keep everything together in one place, and you're not going to have to worry about losing those items. The zipper can be a little bit stiff, so, just to make you aware of that. Now, this is also going to come with this rubber tipped blow gun. And again has that quick connect feature, so that's going to connect very quickly and easily. And that's going to allow you to clean and blow dust and dirt and debris out of especially smaller places, smaller crevices. So, that is also included. So, this is going to include everything that you need to install this compressor system in your vehicle. And we also have a remote air filter that comes included with all the necessary hardware. And then this also is going to have like I said, the hardware, the plumbing parts and the electrical components that you need to install this and a set of instructions to walk you through the features of each component and walk you through the installation process.
