Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and where do we taking a quick look at the AceCamp sleeping bag liner. This is a nice way to have a liner inside your bag so you can take that out and wash it whenever you need to, rather than having to worry about washing the sleeping bag itself, which can be kind of difficult or cumbersome. This also can serve as just a sleeping bag, all on its own. If you're going to be inside a tent in warmer climates, or maybe you're going to be hopping around hostels, and you just want to have a barrier between you and questionable sheets and other bedding. So let's take a closer look at this.Does come with the little carrying sack.
And this is a polyester material. So it's going to be pretty breathable. That polyester material. We all know it. It's got that slick feeling to it, shiny as well.
So the fabric has a pretty loose weave, so it's definitely breathable. It'll allow air to circulate in the sleeping bag, which also helps to give you a little bit more heat. So this is a nice way to bulk up or reinforce the insulating properties of the sleeping bag you already have and give you that breathable layer in between you and that sleeping bag itself. It is a mummy design, so it has that narrower foot wider opening up here at the top. See, it opens up pretty nice and wide so it's not going to make you feel super closed in.
It allows you to get in there and then get snugly.I'll give you a better look at the fabric here. Get a little bit closer so you can look at that. So it's shiny polyester material. You hear what it sounds like. So it doesn't feel too bad on your skin.
The nice thing about this is that it's really compact. It's very, very lightweight. So it shouldn't have any issues with compacting down and not taking up too much room in your pack. The total length is going to be about 70 or, excuse me, 82 inches. So well over seven feet. And the width up at the top is about 33 inches. At the bottom or at the foot it's about 19 inches. So it keeps you in tight, but it definitely will fit into an adult sized, mummy style, sleeping bag. And then whenever you roll it up and put it back in its little carrying satchel, it compacts down to about six inches by about two and a half in diameter in that little sausage tube. So not too bad as far as compacting down. Just got to roll this guy up so you can see that. And if you're more careful, you can probably get this to be a little bit more compact. Just quickly trying to put this away, and then we can stuff it back in that little bag.So I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right liner for you. We do have others from AceCamp that are other materials, and there's different pros and cons for each one. I think this is probably the most compact, but it's definitely not going to be the warmest. So, if you want something that's going to be giving you a little bit more warmth maybe the cotton blend would be a bit better or the cotton poly blend. I think this is going to be really nice if you're going to be in an area where it's a bit warmer or you just want something really light against your skin. Again, if you're going to be backpacking around, going into hostels, just having something to be your barrier against other stuff can be nice. That's it for our look at the AceCamp sleeping bag liner. Thanks for watching. And we'll see out there..
