Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the AceCamp sleeping bag liner. This is a nice option to add a little bit more comfort to your sleeping bag, either as a liner as intended, or you can also use it as just a sleeping covering if you're in a warmer climate, or maybe going through a hostile and you just want to have something between you and the bedsheets there. Either way, this is going to be a mummy configuration so it's going to have that tapered fit. It fits into this nice little carrying sack so whenever you're traveling, you can put it in there, roll it down, and make it a bit more compact. This is a cotton material, so it's going to be nice and breathable and lightweight, and again, provide you with that barrier between you and your sleeping bag.You can take this out and wash it a lot easier than you can your sleeping bag or use it all on its own.
Now, whenever you're using it by itself, it's not going to be a great wind barrier, so you want to make sure that you're in a protected area, like maybe a tent in a warmer climate, or again, if you're going to be inside, you shouldn't have any issues there. As you can see, that dark blue color, almost a black or navy blue. I'll get a little closer so you can see the weave of the fabric. It's going to be pretty breathable. Put a hand through here so you can see.
You can't really see through too much. It might be hard for you to see on camera, but it is a pretty loose weave so it gives some protection, but does allow air in there, which is a good thing whenever you're using this as a liner because that's going to help to trap in heat, make it breathable, wick away any kind of moisture, sweat as you sleep.Again, that tapered design will fit really nicely in your mummy sleeping bag. This does have a tag that says it should be washed on warm. No tumble dry. No iron and no bleach.
Pretty easy to care for it. It can be machine washed, you just need to hang it to dry. As far as the size, it's rated at 220 centimeters, which is about 87 inches by 85 centimeters, or 33.5 inches by 50 centimeters or 19.7 inches, so about seven feet, a little bit more than that, by a 33 inches by 20 inches. The 33 is going to be at the top. That 20 inches is going to be at the bottom.
See, nice wide mouth there to give you an opening so you can flip that down and then put it up over your shoulders so you're not having to feel like you're completely closed in there. Whenever this is rolled back up into its little carrying case, it holds up pretty nice and compact.Get this folded in and folds up pretty nicely. We can stash that back in a little sack, and it measures about nine and a half inches by three and a half inches in diameter, at least when I had it in there before. It might take you a little bit to get this compact enough to fit back in there. I'm just doing it quickly so I don't take up too much time there. Now, if you want a different material for your sleeping bag liner, we do have a couple other options. There's a poly cotton blend, which is a little bit softer, and then a complete polyester blend, and also a pongy, which is like a very loosely woven silk-like material. You can also find those here at etrailer.com in that mummy style. You can get everything lined up, or again, use one of those as a sleeping bag. Get this guy all the way in there, mostly in there anyway. On the bag itself, it does have a couple of loops, so if you want to chain that through on your pack you can. Make it pretty easy on yourself and it should be a nice addition to your camping gear. Well, that's about all there is to it for our look at this sleeping bag liner. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right one for you. Again, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
