Bike rack installs on your A-frame trailer and lets you carry 2 bikes of almost any size or style by the wheels - no adapter bar needed. Keeps your bikes safely behind your tow vehicle. 22-1/2" Tall base accommodates most electric tongue jacks.Very sturdy product. The only thing I would suggest, is that they offered an option for a straight vertical attachment. The only way the original angled installation would have worked on my trailer, would have been to angle it forward, towards the truck. Didn't give me enough clearance to feel comfortable. I've attached a few photos of what I welded together in order for the rack to work with my Rockwood Mini Lite. The extra height added to the installation didn't make it any more difficult to load the bikes. This modification at the factory would make it more user friendly for a wider variety of trailers. Would still highly recommend this rack!
Very happy with both the product as well as the service from E trailer. I mounted on the tongue of our NuCamp T@B 400 camper. As the trailers receiver is bolted to the main frame, I had to fabricate a. 1/2” thick plate to sandwich between the racks bottom plate and my trailer tongue. This provided for a nice level surface and has worked well now for over 4,000 miles. We carry two peddle bikes which ride smoothly up out of the way. Great to be able to have bikes with us again
On our last camper, I fabricated a rear hitch which also worked well but was understandably not as gentle if a ride for the bikes as up in the tongue.

I was concerned at first if when turning tightly, would the bikes tires hit my truck. However, since they set up higher, and you can adjust the height, their tires cleared the tailgate
Box was destroyed when received. No packing paper or air bubbles inside the box.part of the bike rack plastic was broke. Ordered the straight shank to go with the jack it 2..no bolts fornit..bolts for jack it work after you wrench on them and creat your own threads. Product seems goods, small details seem to be missing on experience and packaging.

Yes that box is definitely in rough shape. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.
Rock Solid!!
After some less than successful attempts at hauling our bikes behind our camping trailer on a traditional bike rack, we ordered and installed a Lippert “Jack It” bike rack on the front tongue of the trailer. It bolts solidly and securely sandwiched between the trailer and the tongue jack. We have been thoroughly pleased with both the high quality of the rack and it’s solid performance!
The bikes hang by the wheels on hooks with locking straps on top, and are further stabilized by anti sway bars also strapped to the bike.
Multiple mounting holes in the “wings” provide ample options suitable for most bikes. The “Jack it” is suitable for both standard and and step through style frames as bikes are suspended by the wheels and not the frame.
Loading the bikes is not difficult (do the rear one first) and rest easy as your bikes are always in sight!
We also ordered a Lippert accessory, the “Bump It,” which allows you to transfer the “wings” section of the “Jack It” to your tow vehicle after your arrival. It’s a great way to expand your biking options at your destination!

5000 miles of travel with our bikes has proven the “jack it” to be a convenient, save and secure mode to take our bikes camping. It is as solid as the day purchased, no wear, no rust! We still love that we can see the bikes at all times! The short 3 step step ladder that we already carry with us makes loading and unloading our bikes for us retirement age campers easy. This was a great purchase!
Installation was fairly easy, haven’t towed with bike installed yet, however the bike is very secure and was easy to put on rack. If you want a secure way to haul bikes this is the product for you. Just be sure and measure the height of your jack(top of trailer tongue to top of jack) so you order the proper one, Jack-it has 18.5” clearance and Jack-it 2 has 22.5” clearance for trailer jack.

Works Perfect! Have hauled bikes all over the US no problems what so ever
We love this bike rack, very sturdy, we had to modify the mounting bracket a bit to fit in on the tongue of our camper but it works like a charm.
Assembly and installation of the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack was straight forward and simple. Configuring the rack for the bikes that you plan on transporting took the most time. We have not used the rack yet so I cannot speak to how it works in that capacity. We will use it on an upcoming 6 day trip 1400 mile trip in June.
It is difficult for me to lift bikes up on that rack. But I do like that it puts the weight up front on the camper frame and not the weak rear bumper.

One year later, I dont use it anymore. Its still mounted on the RV, but not in use. Bikes with disk brakes and a flared rear rack rub. Too hard for me to get bikes up there also. I have since purchased E bikes and this rack is not meant for E bikes. One day I will remove the bike rack from the RV and sell it.
I immediately needed to have the main support modified because I need 27 inches of clearance for my jack and stabilizer controls but I was aware of that issue when I ordered rack. I haven't mounted bikes yet but will be happy to be able to see bikes from tow vehicle.
Installed easily, although you will most likely have to cut the cable to the jack if it is a Lippert jack, because the jack only slides into the jack-it base from the front. In the first trip with bikes, the bike rack worked exactly as advertised although I had to re-torque the three jack bolts when I returned. On my Grand Design Imagine trailer, the height of the rack when installed makes placing a bike on the rear hooks impossible for a short person without a stepladder, so since I have enough height to clear my truck bed, I reversed the direction of the stinger that supports the bikes and pointed it towards the truck rather than the trailer (manufacturer says this is OK to do). Changing the support arm orientation allows me to stand on the tailgate to install and remove both bikes effortlessly.
BEWARE: NOT FOR USE WITH BIKES THAT HAVE DROP BARS OR BIKE RACKS. The Jack-It seems to be sturdy and well-constructed, and I give it bonus points for installing to an existing strong point on the trailer with a very minimal footprint - necessary on our 2021 Casita. We were pleasantly surprised that we could operate the emergency manual crank of our FIC electric jack even with the Jack-It base installed. However, the Jack-It was clearly designed for a very narrow subset of bikes. I tried to install two touring bikes with drop bars, racks, and cantilever brakes. The Jack-It is simply not wide enough to accommodate this sort of bike. We could not find a position where the handlebars on one bike would not rub or otherwise conflict with the other bike. If you're not careful, even the wide cantilever brakes rub on the Jack-It's vertical bars. I can't blame etrailer for not accepting a return of installed merchandise, and I knew I was taking a bit of a chance on this product, but I think the description of this product is not clear enough about these limitations. Expensive mistake.

I reached out to the manufacturer and they advised that the bike rack is designed to work with most bikes but may not work for all. It was suggested to try having the bikes face opposite directions.
The Jack-it Bike rack performed as presented by etrailer. It allows my bikes to ride smooth on the tongue of my RV. I am very satisified in its overall performance. It is well worth the cost knowing when I get to my destinations, the bikes will still be on board.

After one year has past, I still feel the same about the Jack it Bike rack. This is a great product.
This product does what it proports to do carry bikes. In addition it works as a clothes rack and canopy tie down. It was easily moved from our former unit to the newer one. The construction quality is good . I recommend it.
Got here fast, quality piece of gear. Very sturdy. Did have to remove bubble level on jack stand but it wasn’t worth anything anyway.
Set it up today with the optional Bump-It attachment and test drove it w ith 2 bikes after quite a bit of time setting it up (which was completely expected). With our bikes it takes very particular alignment of wheels and pedals to successfully put them on but felt very solid at normal freeway speeds. Am looking forward to our next trailer vacation!

We have only used it once on a trip from the SF Bay Area tp San Diego an it worked out really well on our T@b. The optional bike ride attachment was great for taking our bikes onto town and around for other rides. Very glad we got the two together and do look forward t our next trip.
I couldn’t put my bikes in the back of the trailer because then my tongue weight would be too low. My trailer is a Scamp 16, which has a shorter tongue than most campers. This rack still works, although the rear bike is tricky to put on.
Pros: Installation is extremely easy, and the adjustability of the hanging points makes it possible to put different sized bikes on the rack.
Cons: The rear bike is more difficult to access. The part of the rack that attaches to the trailer is securely bolted on, but the Y “arms” are held on with just pins, so the bikes and the top part of the rack have a lot of movement as we drive.
Well designed bike rack, easy to install. It will be a much needed addition to allow us to easily take our bicycles on our trailer when traveling.
We had this bike for a year now an absolutely love it. It is not difficult to get the bikes on and off. A tip for those of us that are vertically challenged. Take the bikes off while still hooked up to the truck if leveling the trailer will raise the tongue.

Weve had our Lippert Jackit Bike Rack for a year now. We absolutely love it. I like the fact that I can see the bikes while going down the highway. They do not move around hardly at all.
Ordering and delivery of the bike rack was easy and fast, and a good price. The installation went smoothly taking two seniors about a half hour to position it over our Lippert electric tongue jack. We have not yet tried it towing with bikes attached.

The product worked fine, holding two bikes on the front of our tear camper. Unfortunately, we did not work as well...the rack ended up so high in the air that two short 70+ year olds found it very difficult to lift the bikes onto the rack. We sadly removed the rack and sold it to someone younger and stronger.
Works great for carrying the bikes on the trailer and off the truck. Getting the bike on the back is a little harder and takes two people. I have a hybrid trailer and can easily remove the top of the rack to lower the bed on the front of the trailer. I had previously used a hitch mounted rack when towing, but it made it impossible to lower the truck tailgate and obstructed the back up camera which is useful when hooking up the trailer.
Delivery took a long time but item was finally shipped after I sent an email. The bike rack is great for our bikes on the front of our trailer. The install would have been easy had it not been for the power tongue jack wires that had to be disconnected to get the jack off to put the power tower under it. We were hot and tired after the install so haven't loaded the bikes yet. It looks like there's plenty of space between rack and trailer front though for the bike pedals and such. Hopefully this will be easier than trying to load bikes in short bed truck.
I bought a Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame trailers with 22 1/2 “ jack clearance LC429756. I ordered it on 5/29/29 and I receive it 6/10/20. I installed it the next day as we are leaving on a one week camping trip an will give it a good trial.
Packaging was great, instructions were simple, loading it up was easy for me. The proof will be in the trip which I will report on later.
Mounted it on my 2019 Casita TT A-Frame hitch that is stressed for room - no problems noted.
Very easy install. Sturdy.

Product works great. No issues. Have traveled from Key West to Maine with no problems.
With a 1966 Aistream, we were limited on our options on how to travel with our bikes. Rear bumper mounts were not an option due to the risk of trailer separation and the airstream rear mount would need to be retrofitted since it was designed for their modern trailers. It was also very $$$.
When I came across this bike carrier that mounts under the jack, it looked promising but I still wasn’t sure I had enough space to clear the peddle and handle bars on the inboard bike. I finally pulled the trigger and figured I could have a fabricator make the necessary adjustments if needed.
It fit perfectly with no modifications necessary and had at least 6” of clearance between the trailer and inboard bike.
What is even more impressive is the team at eTrailer. I originally bought this from a competitor who said they had it in stock but after 13 days of not shipping and a big trip coming up, I canceled my order with them, placed it with eTrailer. I did pay for 2 day shipping but it was worth it because my relic of a trailer uses a different thread pitch for its mount bolts.
No longer packing the bikes in the trailer Is a game changer!!!
The box was resealed at the warehouse at the warehouse and sent out missing all of the hardware
