I have a great option for you. When using the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275 there are a few parameters you will need to stay within. The bike rack needs to be travel trailer rated, fit a 2" hitch and the combined weight of the bike rack and your bikes needs to be less than 100 lbs.

Given these parameters I recommend the Lets Go Aero NEO2 2-Bike Rack # B01748. This 2 bike rack is the lightest weight of the racks that are rated for use on your travel trailer and fit a 2" hitch receiver. Since the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275 has a weight limit of 100 lbs., the 34 lbs. that the Lets Go Aero NEO2 2-Bike Rack # B01748 weighs leaves you with 33 lbs. per bike.

The answer indicated that I am limited to 33lbs per bike but my bikes are 40lbs each. Is there another recommendation?

We will have to use a different way to carry the bikes. Because if you are wanting to use the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275 then there is no way to carry two 40 lb. bikes. The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275 is limited to 100 lbs. This includes the weight of the bike racks and the bikes. The lightest weight bike rack we have that is compatible with the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275 is the Lets Go Aero NEO2 2-Bike Rack # B01748 which weighs 34 lbs. Which leaves 66 lbs. of weight left available. The Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers # LC429756 installs on your A-frame trailer and lets you carry 2 bikes of almost any size or style by the wheels. This installs around your trailer jack and will fit jacks with up to 2-1/4" outer tube diameter and 22-1/2" clearance above trailer frame. This rack has a weight capacity of 80 lbs. so 40 lbs. per bike, which is what you are looking for.

You can use a bike rack that is rated for a travel trailer and fits a hitch on the back of your travel trailer. If you do not already have a hitch we have the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13701 if the frame members on your travel trailer are between 18-51 inches apart or the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # 13703 if the frame members on your travel trailer are between 22-72 inches apart. This would allow you to use the Lets Go Aero NEO2 2-Bike Rack # B01748 that was recommended earlier to its full potential and not be limited because of the bike bunk. The Lets Go Aero NEO2 2-Bike Rack # B01748 has a weight capacity of 80 lbs. So 40 lbs. per bike like you are needing. Your other option would be to store your bikes inside your travel trailer during travel and remove them at your destination.
