Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the Valterra Heating and AC Grille. This ceiling vent is white in color, offers a really nice clean look to the interior of your RV once installed. It is made from durable plastic. The ceiling vent or register allows air to come into the RV from duct work and this one offers really easy operation as well as 360 degree rotation, so you can direct the air to where you need it to go. Installation hardware is included. The overall diameter of the unit measuring edge to edge is around seven inches.
The mount holes, you'll notice that there's four of them. They're separated apart from one another on center. From this one to this one is 4-3/8 and that's the same one, or excuse me, the same measurement in a square pattern.If you go straight across from one another, they're separated on center by about 6-3/16 inches. The vent opening, measuring this portion here. The actual vent portion is bout 5-1/2 inches in diameter.
The collar extension, this portion here, it's about one inch. Then, the diameter of this area here, which fits into the ceiling, is about 5-3/16 of an inch. The product is also made in the USA. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra Heating and AC grille.

This is an exact replacement for the OEM part in our '03 Teton 5th wheel. Kaylyn is outstanding. Stayed on top of the order; great communications. Perfect fit. Enhanced the looks of the inside of my aging motorhome. The old ones were yellowing, dry and brittle. Ordering was easy, and communication with the folks at E-Trailer was excellent.
I purchased this model along with some other styles to do some measured air flow rates hoping for improvement. This was (by far) the top performer. I had to cut the openings out some to install where I was replacing the Montana OEM models. The larger opening along with a less restrictive louvers resulted in >25% increased measured air flow compared to OEM. I will be ordering enough to retrofit the rest of my camper in the very near future.

I bought my coach used, and 3 of the grills had broken tabs. I used the grills out of these kits to replace them. Just a note to be careful with this style of grill, they have small plastic tabs that are easy to break off. I have not found any place that sells just the grill instead of the whole kit.
