Great for RVing on the Weekends

Nothing lets you relax after a busy work week like taking a trip in your RV. But even weekend warriors need a place to conduct their business. This RV toilet is specifically built to satisfy the needs of RVers who use their RV for just a few days at a time. This toilet is just as tall as a standard residential toilet so it's easy to sit down on and get up from. It also has a convenient foot pedal for a clean, hands-free way to flush away waste. Also, the durable polypropylene seat, bowl, and base are lightweight, so they won't weigh down your camper. If you're preparing for a trip this weekend, this toilet ensures that you'll be ready when nature calls.

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

There's one measurement you should double check to see if this toilet will easily fit into your bathroom. The rough-in measurement is the minimum distance you'll need from the wall to the center of the flange on which the toilet will sit. To measure this distance without uninstalling your current toilet, the mounting bolts on the side will typically tell you where the center of the flange is. You may want to triple check if your toilet has an offset flange or 4-bolt mounting style.

The Dometic 300 Series RV toilet has a rough-in measurement of 8-1/2". If your rough-in measurement is less than 8-1/2", alterations will be needed to make it fit. Also keep in mind the overall dimensions of the toilet, and measure for yourself to pick the best model for an easy DIY upgrade.

Could not replace with a upgrade ceramic because of new version fitting in spot. My only option was to replace with same. I do not recommend at all. If you have room upgrade to a ceramic. These are notorious to leak from inside bowl to space between bowl and outside shell.

by:

Shipping was fast. Toilet is just as described and matches the current bathroom colors. It has a nice height to it especially for older people. Great replacement for the original toilet.

by:

Ordered was placed with a very knowledgeable young lady but I kinda' doubted her two day delivery time. WRONG, here at noon today! The prduct was as described and very well packed. I will be looking to them for more of my trailer and RV needs in the future.

by:

Unfortunately, my plumber gave me the wrong information regarding what toilet I needed to order (ceramic not plastic). I contacted the company and spoke to their agent Jake, explained the situation and he was extremely professional and helpful, he sent me instructions on how to return the item and a UPS mailing form. I just returned the toilet and waiting for a refund. I would use this company again.

Perfect fit replaced an old Model Thetford in our Lance Truck Camper. It’s so much nicer and love that I don’t have to lean over to flush. Foot pedal flush only way to go.

by:

I gave it four stars because have not gotten to take the camper out to try it yet. But it is light and easy to handle and installed quickly and easily. Hole water in the bowl. Appears to be a good product for the money.

Toilet has been functioning well, had to replace the valve in it at the beginning of the year. This has been been a problem now with 2 Models of Dometic toilets we have had.

Once again etrailer comes through! Our Dometic 300 toilet started leaking just out of warrantee. With etrailer's price it was a no-brainer. The toilet arrived really fast, and installation is a breeze. Thanks to etraile, I now think of the toilet as an expendable item to be replaced as needed.

by:

As described. The best part is ordering from etrailer. Shipping is lightening fast and customer support is far superior than competitors.

I do have a solution, however, we do not carry a toilet currently that matches your requirements. This toilet is considered taller however. at 20 inches in height compared to the standard 14-1/2" height.

  • How Do I Measure My RV Toilet Rough-In On My 2010 Coachland Freelander?
So when it comes to measuring your rough-in for your toilet, you'll want to measure straight from the center of the flange on the floor to the wall. If that measurement is less than 11", the Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet - Standard Height # DOM87FR will not fit. If you do have an 8" rough-in, unfortunately the closest toilet we carry is the Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet - Standard Height # DOM74FR which has an 8-1/2" rough-in.

The Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet, available in Tan # DOM27FR or White # DOM87FR, is a great selection for replacing/adding/upgrading a toilet in your Jayco! We can get you a replacement for your Dometic 300 toilet that will work with the mounting studs 9-1/2 inches away from the back wall, but there are no ceramic options, just polypropylene (which is just plastic). In regards to the heights, that is the overall height, so not the bowl or seat, but the 300 is 18-1/2 inches to the top of the seat. If you were okay not going with ceramic, the correct part number for the 300 in white is the following: - Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet # DOM64FR
