Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this exterior RV step rug. This is a 22 inch wide rug. That's going to wrap around your RV's exterior steps. Whether they are 22 inches or up to 24 inches.

You can see here our 24 inch step does have a little bit exposed on either side, but it's still gonna provide plenty of surface area for the center of the step. So that you can walk in and kind of wipe your feet off as you're going in so that you're not tracking as much dirt into your RV. Keeps your RV's floors a little bit cleaner. This is a really nice charcoal black color. So it's gonna do a good job of hiding that dirt and look really nice especially if you have black steps like this.

This is just the single rug option. We do have other options available here at etrailer.com that are this exact same style. That have three, set of three. So as you can see here, I've got my three-step system and I've only got the one rug on it which looks a little odd. But if you only have a one-step system, this is the rug for you.

If you have three steps, I would encourage you to go look at that other set. But we also have other colors and styles and that sort of thing available. So if this doesn't quite fit your fancy, check out some of those other options. But this charcoal rug does have the rugged style to it. So if I zoom in a little bit here, you might see that a little bit better.

So we've got these deep treads that help to kind of flick the dirt and mud off our shoes easier as we're going through. So it's gonna do a good job of cleaning off our feet. So we're not tracking that dirt inside. This is a really durable outdoor carpet. So it's gonna do a good job of lasting for you. It's resistant to mold and mildew. It's also going to resist fading and UV rays. So it's gonna hold up well and do a good job for you for a long time to come. It's extremely easy to clean. You just spray it off with a hose, let it air dry, and you're ready to go. Another nice feature of these rugs is that they are a solid pattern. So for those of you with animals and you have holes in your steps, sometimes that can be intimidating to those animals. And they see through that. They don't have the confidence to go in and out on their own. Having a solid rug on here is going to make that a solid surface for them so that they can go in and out all by themselves. As far as getting this installed, it's gonna be extremely simple. On the bottom side here you can see we have these four springs. So if I take those springs off, it's just a simple grommet hook design. So we pull those off. If your fingers are any more nimble than mine this will probably be a lot easier for you than it is for me, but still not all that difficult to pull this off. You can see each of our tabs here has four different grommets and that's to accommodate different depth steps. So this will work for your steps that are eight inches deep all the way up to 11 inches. We'll just determine which grommet you need to hook on to of your spring. So then I'll pull this out for us. We can see the backside. And on the backside here you can see that we have this textured rubberized surface which is going to work with our springs to help keep it from shifting around. But we're also going to have these adhesive back hook and loop strips. So the first time you install this you'll peel off that adhesive backing, stick it to the front of your step. And then that is not only going to provide extra security for you, make it a nice snug fit so that your rug is not moving around but that's also gonna help you line it up. If you ever do have to remove the rug and put it back on, you'll always know that it's centered. We've got an even bigger shift at the back that allows for the same thing. Make sure that our rug is gonna stay in place. So a really nice option here to make sure that your RV step is covered. It's gonna make it a little bit less abrasive as you're walking, and these steps have kind of a sandpaperish feel to it. So if you're walking in barefoot, this rug is gonna feel a lot nicer for your feet and it is gonna do a good job of making sure that the dirt and mud and that sort of thing doesn't get tracked in to your RV. Then putting it in place, again, is just as simple as pulling that spring up and getting it hooked into that grommet. Which is a little bit more difficult for me at the moment. But you can see, not a truly difficult process. Pretty easy to get put back in place. So like I said, this is the charcoal black rugged style. We do have other options available as well.
