Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this exterior RV step rug. This is a 22 inch wide step rug that's going to wrap around your RV's steps that are 22 up to 24 inches wide. You can see with our 24 inch wide step here you are gonna have a little bit of bare space on either side, but it's gonna give you enough to walk up the center of your steps. This will fit with your straight steps or your curved steps like we have here.

It will also work with your electric steps or mechanical steps like we have here. Obviously this is a three step system and I've only got a one step on there. If you do have a three-step system we do have a three-step version of this. It's just going to be the same thing, just with a quantity of three, but this is just for the quantity of one. So I just have the one in place there.

This is gonna do a great job of allowing you a place to kind of wipe your feet as you're going into your RV so that you're not tracking as much dirt into your RV. Helps to keep your floors a little bit cleaner. And you can see this coffee brown color is gonna do a good job of hiding that dirt. So it's not going to stand out like it would on a brighter color. So you shouldn't notice that dirt in there.

But this is the Ruggids style. So it's got these deep treads there that are gonna help to kick off the chunks of dirt and mud off your shoes easier. And this is a fairly soft. It's a rugged outdoor carpet, so it is gonna hold up well to the environment, but it should still feel nice on your bare feet. It's not gonna be too coarse or abrasive.

It's gonna resist mold and mildew. So you're not going to have to worry about that. It is also going to resist fading from UV rays. So it's gonna hold up really well for you. Be nice and durable for a long time to come. It's extremely easy to clean. Basically just have to hose it off and let it air dry, and it will be ready to go. This solid design is also really nice for those of you who have pets. If you have holes in your RV steps, sometimes that can be intimidating to those animals that can see through there, and it feels like it's going to be a big fall for them rather than a solid step. So this is going to create that solid platform so they have the confidence to go in and out on their own. As far as getting this installed, it's going to be very simple. I'm gonna tilt this back so you can see the underside. We're gonna have these four springs along the bottom. These springs are what holds the rug tight around your step. And you can see, we do have these flaps. Each of these flaps has four of these grommet holes, and that's going to determine the fit. So this will accommodate the steps that are eight inches deep, all the way up to 11 inches deep. You'll just get your spring tucked onto the one that's gonna be the firmest connection for you. If I pull this out here, you'll be able to see on the backside we do have these adhesive backed hook and loop strips. So the first time you get this installed you'll peel off that adhesive backing, get it stuck to the front of your steps, and that's going to give you a guide. Anytime that you're gonna remove your rug, you can always make sure that it's going to be centered by lining that strip up. And the front and back hook and loop strip are also going to provide extra connection points to make sure that your rug is fitting snugly in place, and you're not gonna have to worry about it shifting around. And you can see we also have this textured rubber type material on the underside, so between the springs, the hook and loop strips, and that rubber, these are going to stay in place, be nice and snug for you. When you're ready to get 'em installed again, It's just as simple as pulling out your step, and wrapping it around. Pull that through, one side to the other. And then making sure it's lined up on center, pull that spring around, get it hooked in place. Obviously you'll want to do that for all four, not just for one. I'm just gonna do the one for now, just for demonstration purpose. But overall, I think this is gonna be a really nice option for you. Like I said, this is a nice, fairly soft. It's not the plushest option, but it's not super abrasive, but it should do a good job of allowing you a place to clean off your feet as you go into your RV.
