Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the replacement roller for RV slide outs. This is going to have a built-in guard, so it's going to be protected on that one side. This is a surface mount design roller. We'll have our two nylon rollers here to keep everything moving smoothly.
Those nylon rollers are going to be nice and durable so we won't have to worry about those wearing out anytime soon. Should be weather-resistant as well. It does not come with any hardware to mount this in place. You will have to pick that up on your own or reuse the hardware from your old roller if possible.So for the bracket length, it's about 6 1/2" long overall, and then about 1 1/4" wide. And top to bottom, it's a little over an inch, maybe 1 1/4" tall.
As far as the actual roller portion, those two pieces together are about 4 1/4" long. If we go just from the ends of those rollers there and expand those out all the way, it looks like it's about 4 3/8" across. The width or the diameter of each roller is about an inch. Again, those do sit about 1 1/4" high. Distance between our mounting holes is about 3/4" going one way.
And then longways, it's roughly about 6".That's pretty much all there is to it for our replacement roller for RV slide outs with the built-in guard.
