Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the replacement roller for RV slide outs. This is going to be a recessed mount roller, so as it sits there it's going to be kind of hidden and only a little bit is going to be rolling out at the top, so it's going to keep that nice and protected. Our bracket is made out of a zinc plated steel and then our roller is made out of a nylon construction. As far as the measurements go from side to side, it's about three inches wide and then about four and a half inches long, although if we go to the end of the bolt and the nut there holding everything together, it's about five and a quarter inches long.The little channel that our roller sits in is just about an inch and five eighths wide, and then it's about one and half inches tall. We go to the top of the roller, to the bottom of the housing there, maybe about one and nine sixteenths, if we get real exact with it.
Each of our mounting holes has a conical design, so that'll work with a counter sunk bolt for one of those flathead top bolts. The distance between those mounting holes, center to center from one side to the other is roughly three and a half inches in between each one. It's about one and three quarter inches. The distance between them side to side is roughly two and three eighths inches and that's pretty much all there is to it. Thank you for the Recess Roller. I have removed my RV carpet and installed luxury vinyl plank flooring. This roller will help carry the weight of the slide out and not scratch the new floor.
