Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this rubber press-on wiper seal and bulbs. This is going to replace your old or worn out wiper seal on your RV slide out. It's gonna help stop water and pests from getting into your living area. And then we've got the two bulbs here that are going to seal against the RV when the slide out is closed to help keep the elements out. Now, when you're looking to replace this, your seal and bulbs, it's obviously, you're gonna want to find something that's very comparable.
So giving you a few measurements here, you can see our overall width, we're looking at about two and one eighth of an inch and then our height, we're about one and three quarters of an inch tall. Now this does come in three different lengths to meet your application's needs. So we've got a 15 foot long option, a 25 foot long option and a 50 foot long option. Just for your reference, the one that I have here is the 25 foot long option. So that gives you a visual indication to help you understand how much you're gonna need for your setup.
But this is made here in the USA of a EPDM rubber. So it is going to hold up really well for you. It's not gonna shrink, crack or fade over time and it's also going to be resistant to UV damage. So again, will hold up well for you. It does have this flexible core here that's gonna help the seal maintain its grip.
Very simple to get installed. You'll just press it onto a quarter inch thick flange. You may need to use a rubber mallet to kind of tap it in place and then you'll just use scissors to cut off any extra seal that you have and you'll be ready to go. So, all around a great option here to replace your slide out seal. So, that completes our look for today.
Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

Replace a worn-out wiper seal on your RV slide out with a durable and longer-lasting upgrade. This lip seal installs onto a 1/8" thick flange. Two integrated bulbs seal your RV slide when retracted. Both ends were not cut at a 90 degree angle. Had to eliminate almost two inches on either side.
Center strip with "v" grabbers is sealed in rubber, not open to accept ridge flange on camper. Had to take box cutter to cut rubber between "v" grove. Still can't get it on. Not easy install as video shows.
Very frustrated as we are leaving in 3 days and do not have a good seal on our side out.
