Finally a power cord that stays completely flexible in the cold winter weather. Works great!

by:

Delivered as expected and on time no issues. Have ordered multiple times for etrailer and have never been disappointed! Always the right product and always on time.

by:

The wires are pulling out of the plug with no apparent way to disassemble and fix it. Poor manufacturing and design, would NOT recommend.

It sounds like the cord has become stressed over time. If the cord has too much weight or an excessive amount of bend at the connector, it may cause what you are experiencing to happen. In these cases, we recommend using part # A10-5025ED90 as this cord has a ninety degree connector to reduce the stress on the cord for weight or excessive bending.

by:

This cord has been great for me. Have no problems. And it heavy duty.

by:

The only problem was the ETA on delivery. Missed the mark by 3 days. Other than that all expectations met

by:

Great product. Fast shipping. Already in use!!

It’s still working fine. My only complaint is that the rubber cover over the cord came out of the handle part so I was worried about that. I replaced the handle part hoping that would fix the issue but it did the same thing after a couple of days. I’m just going to tape over it I think, just to protect it :

by:

Great company to buy your parts for your projects. Also very good customer service if you have a problem with anything.

  • 50 Amp RV Power Cord for 2000 Winnebago Chieftain 36L Diesel Pusher
I can't say whether or not a manufacturer has made an adjustable connection, but I haven't ever seen one. I checked with one of our cord manufacturers and they said that the orientation of the cords like the Camco PowerGrip # CAM55572 won't matter when plugged in, so the way it will hang down when attached to your RV isn't anything to be worried about. The wires in these cords are 6/3+8/1 (6 gauge for 3 wires, 8 gauge for 1 wire).

  • 50 Amp Power Cord With Locking Ring
Thanks for the order, though there aren't add-on locking rings for your Epicord 50 amp power cord. The best option we have is a new 50 amp power cord that has a locking ring, also called a twist lock plug. There are a couple of options for you depending on if you need a 50 amp to 50 amp or 30 amp to 50 amp plulg: - 50 Amp on RV to 30 Amp Electric Box: Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 50 Amp Twist Lock Female to 30 Amp Male # A10-3050EDBK - 50 Amp on RV to 50 Amp Electric Box Mighty...

  • Replacement Power Cord for 2011 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8280 Trailer
The Mighty Cord 90-Degree Detachable RV Power Cord # A10-3025ED90 referenced in your question will work with your 2011 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8280 Trailer as long as it has 30 amp service. This is most likely the case for your trailer, but you will want to check to ensure that is correct. A larger trailer will sometimes need 50 amp service, in which case you would use the Mighty Cord # A10-5025ED.

  • Is There a 10' or 15' 50amp RV Power Cord Available From Furrion or Another Brand
No, we do not have a 50amp power cord available in a length of 10'-15'. The shortest 50amp power cord that we have from Furrion is the Furrion RV Power Cord w/ Pull Handle # F5OR30SBOEM (30') you were looking at. We do not have a 10'-15' cord in another brand either. The shortest 50amp power cord that we have is the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord w/ Pull Handle # A10-5025ED (25'). The 50amp cords that we have are extension cords like the # A10-5010EH (10') and # A10-5015EH (15').

  • Best Power Cord for a 2017 Forest River Sandpiper Fifth Wheel
It looks like your 2017 Forest River Sandpiper Fifth Wheel does in fact have a 50 Amp plugins, so both the Mighty Cord Detachable, part # A10-5036EDBK, and the Mighty Cord Power Cord with Handle, part # A10-5025ED, will work for you. I recommend going with the # A10-5025ED since the handle and 90-degree plug reduce wear on the cord and prongs, helping extend the life of the cord. I've linked to a video review of this one. Also, it's a good idea to get a conversion cord like part # CAM55185...

  • Recommended Surge Protector for 50 Amp 5th Wheel Trailer Connection to Shore Power
For your 50 amp system, you will want the Camco RV Power Defender Voltage Monitor - 50 Amp # CAM55306. This voltage monitor disconnects when dangerous voltage levels are detected and then reconnects when it stabilizes. This is much better than the cheap surge protectors that need replacing and are only good for one surge and then leave you disconnected or vulnerable. You won't need a different surge protector for your 50 amp RV wiring. For sites that won't have a 50 amp service, I recommend...

  • Replacement 50 Amp RV Power Cord
It's hard to say whether the issue is with your cord or power source. The source could be tested but I recommend having a professional do this. On the other hand buying a new cord to test is likely less expensive and easier. If I had to guess I'd lean towards the cord being the issue since it works with the 30 amp adapter on it. As for which cord you really can't go wrong with either. Both the Mighty Cord part # A10-5025ED, and Mighty Cord, part # A10-5025ED90, are good products and...

I wish we did but we do not have exactly what you need. Best option we have would be the part # A10-5025ED which is a 50 amp extension with a 50 amp male and female end that you could cut down to 15 feet as needed.

I recommend using the Mighty Cord Dogbone RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-3050FBK with your the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord # A10-5025ED. This has 90 degree connectors which make it ideal for tight spaces. Another option (which I like better) is to use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-3050EDBK because you are just using 1 wire and not making multiple connections between your camper and power source. Simply carry both cords with you and when use the correct one to match up with the...

The voltage flowing through these connectors can be the 240v you referenced as long as your RV transfer switch is rated for such. • Mighty RV Power Cord Disconnects from Trailer Because of Trailer Outlet Position & Weight of Cable
It sounds like you will have to insert the end of # A10-5025ED, rotate it to "lock" it into place, and then run the cable up and over the yellow plug and then route the cable down so that the weight is on the other side pulling the plug the opposite direction it would turn if the cable was hanging normally. I do have an option for you but I called Mighty Cord and they do not recommend that you use an extension cord with the Mighty Cord Dog Bone RV Power Cord Adapter part # A10-1550. If you choose to use an extension cord anyway then you would still be limited to 15 amps which would not allow you to run much in the trailer.
