Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this Valterra deadbolt lock for RVs and mobile homes. This deadbolt is going to help protect your RV or your mobile home from intruders and provide you an additional piece of mind. As you can see, I kind of have this loosely put together just to kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like when you have this installed. Of course, I don't have this installed in a door, but I just kind of wanna put it together a little bit here for you.
Now, this double cylinder is keyed on both sides, so you can lock and unlock from both the inside and the outside. And this is going to be an easy, universal installation. And you're just going to use the strike plate for standard installation. And then you can remove the faceplate for drive-in installation. And this is going to fit 1 3/8 inches to 1 3/4 inches thick RV or mobile home doors with a 2 3/8 inch from center of face hole to leading edge of door.
The throw bolt thickness is 5/8 of an inch. And the stainless steel construction is durable and attractive as well. And as you can see, two keys are included along with instructions and the hardware that you are going to need to successfully install this. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. The lock works great even though we had to use the old latch as the new one was a bit too short, the cylinders fit perfectly to it.
Easy to install Deadbolt Lock. Gives a more finished and professional look to the trailer.
