Greystone's electric fireplace helps create a homey atmosphere in your RV. With the front control panel and the wireless remote control, adjusting the multiple temperature, lighting, and timer options is simple. Adjustable Thermostat, Timer, and LED Lights
The thermostat-controlled air heater gives you 3 settings for temperature: low, high, and auto. In auto mode, you can adjust the temperature from 62 degrees to 82 degrees F (17 degrees to 28 degrees C) in 5 degree increments. The timer gives you the ability to set the fireplace running time anywhere from 30 minutes to 9 hours. Once the set time up, the fireplace will automatically shut off.
Long-lasting, energy-efficient LED lighting provides the realistic and comforting effects of a fire during any season. The LED crystal and flame display can be turned on separately from the heat function. The flame display has 5 brightness levels to create the perfect ambience, and the crystal bed also adjusts between 3 different colors: yellow, blue, purple, and red.
Safety Features
The thermal cut-off feature senses when the fireplace is not getting proper airflow, which usually occurs when the vents are blocked, and cuts the power to the fireplace. If an object is within 6" of the fireplace, the close proximity sensor shuts off the power to prevent fire hazards.
Installation
The fireplace installs into a cutout or cabinet opening, creating a sleek, finished look without taking up limited space. Included hardware secures the unit in place and the detachable glass front unhooks from the fireplace for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the Greystone 31-inch electric fireplace with the crystal design. Now, this fireplace adds or replaces the fireplace in your RV. It comes with a wireless remote that allows you to easily operate the unit from a distance, and it also features manual controls in the top right corner for easy adjustment, as well. So that's your control panel.It is a recessed mount installation, and the necessary hinges and mounting hardware are included to get the fireplace installed. It also comes with installation instructions to walk you through that whole process step by step. It is CSA certified, and it plugs into a three prong, 15 amp outlet.
Power cord measures around 6 feet long, and it is designed to be used on 120 volt systems.I want to go ahead and plug the unit in and turn off our overhead light so you can get a good look at it, and then, we'll go through the different settings that it has and see what it has to offer. Now, I'm going to be using the manual controls, so to turn the unit on, all we have to do is hit the power button. And then, we're going to have colors to choose from, but before I do that, we're going to have brightness levels to choose from.So you have L5, L4, 3, 2, and 1, which, again, just adjust the brightness. If you hold that button down for three seconds, it'll allow you to change between the different colors. So we have yellow, red, blue, and then we have a mix of yellow and blue which creates ...
kind of like a purple look. And then, it resets to yellow. The next button is for the heater, so we have low, high, and then auto.With it on the auto setting, we can adjust the thermostat anywhere from 62 degrees Fahrenheit all the way up to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. This right here is the blower, so that's where the heat will come from. And then, we also have a timer that can adjust from 30 minutes to 1 hour, 2, 3 hours, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and that's it.
So anywhere from 30 minutes to 9 hours is the timer that it has on it.Also, you can do those adjustments with the included remote. Just keep in mind that, to change the color, you have to use the manual control, and you cannot use the remote control to adjust the coloring of the fireplace. Now, the heater and the flames can be used together or independently. Last thing I want to go over is the dimensions of the unit.So I took a measurement from outer edge to outer edge, and the overall width is 31 and 7/8ths of an inch wide. The overall depth from very front to very back ...
and of course, I did it when the unit was straight up and down. That measured 5 and 3/4 inches deep. And then, the overall height, bottom to top, is 16 and 3/4 inches tall. Now, again, I did mention that it's a recessed mount installation, so you will need a cutout. So your opening needs to measure about 28 and 1/2 inches wide by about 5 and 1/4 inches deep by about 15 inches tall or 15 inches high.The mount holes on the unit are pre-drilled for an easier installation, so two on each side. The separation on-center going up and down is about 11 inches, and then from side to side is about 29 and 3/4 inches. This glass front sits on two anchors per side, so there's one right here and one right here. So if you ever need to remove the glass for cleaning, you can easily do that simply by lifting up on the glass and pulling it toward you. So if you're in the front, that's the easiest way to do it once it's installed, is to grab right here, to lift up, and then it'll simply come right off of the face of the fireplace. Automatic safety features cut power to the fireplace if overheated or an object is too close.Great product. I installed this in my 2019 Keystone Sprinter 32FWBH 5er. Unfortunately the option to upgrade to a fireplace was not available but it came prepped. I had to do a little research and found that other keystone models came equipped with the greystone 31”. It mounted in perfect, Attached are some images of the install. I simply had to remove the cabinet doors and center brace. Drill w/ Phillips and pliers were all the tools needed.
Overall a really good product! The install took a little bit of creative work, but other than that very easy to install. The fireplace uses a standard 110 volt three prong plug-in. So it can be plugged in anywhere directly to your camping rig or an additional extension cord to help reduce the electrical load on your camper. So there was no need to hardwire the fireplace into the camper. Although we did plug ours into an outlet nearby. We’ve use this fireplace for one year now and we camp all throughout the year. The fireplace has been a great addition to keep our camper warm in the winter months when visiting family. It also helps reduce the amount of propane that we use and keeps the humidity down. The fireplace looks and works great, I am very happy with our purchase!

I installed the Fireplace in a 2012 Heartland Sundance. We live in Ga and usually go camping in the Spring and Fall. Since we installed the unit I have not used the propane heater at all. This has been great! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the remote control. The issue is that there is only up control. For example, the temp goes 62,63,64 .... 72,73,74... 81,82 then back to 62. No way to go back. If you miss your desired temp you have to go all the way around again.
We upgraded our older Hitchhiker Premier with the Greystone insert. It was a simple install, requiring minor modification of an existing cabinet. We camp more in winter than summer, and always have power hook up. It replaces a typical plug in heater with the quiet, realistic flames of a fireplace. We appreciate the several choices of color and heat output.
This appliance has enhanced our winter trips, and our cat very much loves it too.
We love this fireplace in our camper. We use it for heat in the winter to save our propane. The flame and crystal color choices are nice and makes the camper cozy. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it beeps every time we change the TV volume or channel. It is rather annoying.

We love our new fireplace. We had to do a little framing to make it fit the cabinet. The only troublesome task was removing the 2 screws that hold the front glass piece on.

Very easy to install. Make sure to remove the shipping screws on the top left and right inside of the glass so you can take off to install and insert your setting screws.
Just what we wanted for our travel trailer. Minimal work to install (removed 2 cupboard doors and cut off middle bar). Works and looks great.
Best purchase we have made for our travel trailer. I installed the fireplace on it's own breaker so don't have to worry about running to many devices at one time. It fit perfectly in cabinets we had under the TV, just had to frame it in and trim it. We camp a lot in the spring and fall and seldom ever run the furnace, we usually just run the fireplace. The fireplace keeps an even temperature in the trailer instead of swings like the furnace provides. Having the timer is great, I can set the timer so it runs just the duration I want and set the temperature to what I want. Great product and etrailer.com is excellent, I go to them first for any purchases to my trailer, they usually have want I need at the best pricing and they ship extremely fast!
After one year and quite a bit of use the fireplace looks and works great. Even without the heat on it creates a nice ambiance in the trailer. Install was fairly easy. i had to run a line and install an outlet because the space I used was a floor cabinet. After that it was four screws, plug it in and turn it on. The heater takes the chill off nicely and can be the main source of heat in Spring and Fall.
Works great and was easy to install. I thought it might put out a little more heat but still very pleased with it overall.
We added this to our trailer for the ambiance, and figured whatever heat it put out would be a bonus. Let me tell you, WOW! We did not turn our furnace on for the rest of the winter. Granted we live in a temperate area with night time lows around 50, but we have a 30 ft travel trailer that is not insulated very well and this provides more than enough heat on low. The only thing I would do different is I would have added it sooner. I will say, the visuals are travel trailer worthy, and the "flame" gets stuck sometimes, but I am sure it was not designed to run 10 hours a day every day, and the heater is more than worth it.
Have 2 other fireplaces I already own, great product. And the experience with etrailer was great and processed in a very timely manner

Working Great, really not to bad winter,had to use very little
This fireplace was a very easy install in my 5th wheel. Have used the fireplace for over 1 year. Works very well. With the fireplace installed, hardly ever used the propane furnace.
We love our Greystone fireplace! It not only keeps our travel trailer warm in cold weather but it is also gorgeous to just sit and watch with its beautiful color schemes. Highly recommend this product!
We were looking for an exact replacement of the fireplace in our travel trailer that was no longer working. We found the Greystone fireplace at etrailer.com after much searching on the internet! We luv luv luv it. My husband replaced a cabinet in our camper for the fireplace. It has been serving us well especially not having to use camper furnace which is somewhat noisy

It’s been a year and we still love the fireplace. No issues so far. Heading into some cold weather camping, so it’ll be getting some more use.
