Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the six ton combination Pintle hitch with the two and five sixteenths hitch ball. This six ton combination hitch will feature a patented design that combines both the ball hitch and a Pintle hook all in one product. It will allow you to pull loads that have either a coupler or a draw bar net ring without having to change hitches. Common use for this is towing, hauling rental tow vehicles so it's ideal for contractors, tradesman and haulers to arrange lighter duty loads.It is a forged steel construction, has a durable corrosion-resistant black powder coat finish on it. Uses a very easy-to-use latch and a single piece drop forged lower jaw. The hitch will fit into a two inch by two inch hitch receiver opening and the ball size right up front here is a two and five sixteenths diameter.
Maximum gross trail weight capacity is 12,000 pounds. Maximum vertical load or ton weight capacity is 2,400 pounds. We've mentioned the ball size of two and five sixteenths.Now it is designed to fit draw bar lunette inaudible 00:01:00 inner diameter of two and a half inches to three inches. A few measurements on this. The overall length from this end all the way to this end is about 15 and 1/2 inches.
The height from here to here is about six inches. Just to show you how the latch will operate, you have this safety pin with a clip on it that you release, hooked to a chain so you can't lose it. Then you just grab your t-handle hilt, pull up on it, and that will open It up for you to hook to a coupler or to drop a lunette ring in there. If you drop a lunette ring in there, all you have to do is push this down and then take your pin, slide it through and then clip it to lock that latch into place so it doesn't open up. Be all ready to go.

Solid construction, perfect for pulling my 10,000# utility trailer while also allowing me to occasionally move trailers that have a lunette / pintle eye when needed. This eliminates the inconvenience of me having to carry two different hitches in my truck.
I also purchased a 2" ball for this hitch from etrailer so that I have the option of switching when needed; the 1-1/8" shank trailer balls for the RM6 series hitches are difficult to locate anywhere besides online.

Very well built hitch
We’ve had this hitch for a year now and it has given us good service. We tow a 20 ton trailer hauling an excavator regularly and the hitch performs well. etrailer.com has excellent customer service also. Would highly recommend.
Great product use it on my 1/2 ton truck to move empty equipment trailers.
This was my first time ordering with etrailer and I can’t believe how fast I received the products (2days!!) and with free shipping as well . The products are top quality and as described online . The only thing I would add is that I ordered a trailer pintle hitch and a drop mount , and neither one had the bolts to mount the two together nor did I see it offered for sale as a “kit” to be purchased . That would be a nice compliment to add to the package .
Developed quite a bit of surface rust not long after installation on surfaces not in contact with trailering. Safety pin does not pass through hitch in open position like all my other pintle hitches. If connected to ball hitch, the pin hangs from chain until it falls off.
