Today we're going to review part number 4435. This is the Draw-Tite Gooseneck Installation Rail Kit. This is a custom fit part number and for this demonstration I do have the end plates bolted to the rails to give you an idea of how this would look when it's mounted underneath your vehicle. Now being a custom fit part number it is designed to fit the 2003 to 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty, short and long bed trucks, including the Mega Cab. Now this is a custom fit under bed mounting system which is rated to match your manufacturer's vehicle tow weight ratings. It has a nice black Powder Coat finish. This is designed to be used with the 9464 Hide-A-Goose and the 9474 Under-Bed Gooseneck Hitch Heads, also with the 6300 and 630044 Removable Gooseneck Hitch Heads, and also with he Fold-Down Gooseneck Head. It is a simple bolt-on application, no welding required, it does use existing holes in your vehicles frame, so there's also no drilling required, and normally there's no need to raise the truck bed on most models, and there's no need to remove the exhaust when you install it.
Now the mounting hardware is included, and it does come with the spacer shims, which are used to protect your truck bed corrugation from when you install it, so there's no collapsing of your truck bed corrugation there, and this does allow quick, easy installation of the Draw-Tite and Bulldog Gooseneck Hitches. I made a BIG BIG mistake not ordering this Item from etrailer FIRST.
My first Two orders came from A BIG ONLINE RETAILER One shipped UPS and the other FEDEX both arrived with parts missing and had to be returned.
Then I found etrailer you shipped the same hitch but professionaly packaged it! It arrived quickly and cost me less than THE OTHER STORE with out the head aches.

Good customer service! Good instructions! Installed myself after take3 told me they couldn't because they didn't have a template to cut out the bed! Lol so I made one from cardboard myself. I have halled 18th lb no problem.
