Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Short Bed

Question:

I orders this product off a site not nearly as good as yours and the plate that has the ball is to short to bolt to the cross bars. The holds do not line up, Im aggravated and wonder if I got the wrong one, looks the same but wont line up its an inch and a half off! Everything else looks correct but tha plate is not wide enough to put the bolts through on both sides. However I can get the front two through but the back two are short

If you have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 short bed then no, # 9464-57 is not the correct hitch. It fits newer Ram trucks. You would need # 9464-35 for your 2006. The hitch part is the same but the installation kit is different between these two part numbers. If you just want to get the installation kit it is # 4435. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
