Will it fit in my truck as well up using the fold down hitch ? I acadently bought the hitch itself but I wanted to make sure this is the right mounting hardware for my truck1996 Dodge Ram 2500 8ft bed

I do have a solution for you, however the Draw-Tite Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation Rail Kit # 4435 referenced in your question will not fit your 1996 Dodge Ram. This particular installation kit is designed for later model year Rams, starting with the 2003 model year 2500.

For your truck, I instead recommend the Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation Rail Kit # 4439. This is confirmed to fit your truck and will be compatible with your existing Gooseneck Hide-A-Goose Trailer Hitch.
