Today we're going to take a look at the Custer round LED quad flash strobe light kits, for a quantity of two lights. Now these are two LED strobe lights that'll increase awareness around your agricultural equipment, truck or trailer. Has a self-contained flash unit that produces a quad flash pattern. I am going to hook this up to some power just to show you that pattern, how bright they are, at the end of this video.Now they do use LEDs. They'll make great replacements for incandescent lights, because they'll last 50 times longer, and they're more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output, and of course no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments to break.These lights are in a durable plastic housing and lens. It is a red lens over 19 white LEDs on each light.

This is compatible with 12 volt DC systems, and the kit will include everything shown here. The two led strobe lights, the two grommets, which we have already installed onto the lights, and the two plugs that are plugged in. They are a recess Mount with these included grommets. A plug is a three-wire plug, it hard-wires to application.Now when you do wire this, they do give you a set of directions that'll explain to you that the white is for ground, the red will go to your 12 volt power, and they do have a black wire but they recommend the black wire is not to be used.A few specs on this. The diameter of the light itself is four inches.

Thickness of just the light is about two inches.Again, what we're going to do here is, I'm going to hook these up to some 12 volt power, and then we'll go ahead and turn off our overhead lights. We'll take our white that has the white wire with the eyelets on it, both of those and I'll hook them up to the ground. Then we'll take the red wires that we mentioned, hook those up to the power. Once we got both of those hooked up, we'll go ahead, and there we go. That should do it.

Go ahead and turn on our lights, and now you can see the quad flash pattern. What I'm going to do now is go ahead and turn off the overhead lights so you can see it a lot better. When these are attached to your vehicle, it'll give them a warning device to let you know you're in that area. Go ahead and turn back on the overhead lights, go ahead and turn off our power.That should do it for the review on the Custer round LED quad flash strobe light kit, for a quantity of two lights.
