Today we're going to take a look at the Peterson Permanent Mount, 12 volt Revolving Mini Amber Warning Light Bar. Now, this light bar will warn other drivers and pedestrians of the presence of your service vehicle, so ideal for towing, plowing, transportation and even agriculture applications. You can see it uses an amber lens here. Now, the amber lens can be removed if you happen to crack it or if you need access to the bulbs on the inside. Basically, if you pull down this rubber edging on it, you can see there's two screws right here and then two over on the other side. If you just unscrew that then you can replace the lens.Now, it does use halogen bulbs on the inside, so they are easily replaceable.

The reflectors here will rotate around the bulbs to create a nice flashing effect and that dual design will provide 270 flashes per minute. This is a permanent installation. It's designed to permanently install on your mounting surface. You can see the four studs right here. It does have the washers and nuts on them, so if you take the hardware off, drill your four holes, drop it into place and then tighten it down using these nuts and washers.Now, this light is compatible with 12 volt DC systems.

The part is made in the USA. A few specs on this, the wattage is 55 watts at 12 volts. The cord over here that attaches to your ground and your power is 36 inches long. I do want to give you some dimensions of the light itself and then we're going to hook it up to some power just to show you how it works.So, the overall width on this, from one end all the way to the other end, is 23 inches wide. Overall height, from the bottom to the very flat top here is five and a quarter inches tall and the depth on the light is going to be right at eight inches deep.So, now what we're going to do is hook it up to some power and our power 12 volt power on.

So, I'm going to do it with he lights off and then I'll turn off the lights to show you the difference, but there we are with the lights on. You can see it's very bright, halogen lights and they are dual designed, so there's two rotations. As we mentioned, it's 270 flashes per minute. Now, I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. With the lights off, you can see once it's on it lights up the whole room here and again it rotates.Okay, we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights.
