Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at LED amber beacon light. This beacon light has six bright LEDs to keep your vehicle visible while on the road. The beacon offers one flash pattern, amber LEDs and includes a cord with the accessory power plug and on and off switch located directly on the plug, as well as a three way mounting system.Now, the beacon is SAE J845 Class 2 rated. You can permanently or temporarily mount this to the vehicle with a 1 inch threaded pipe. You can use the included pre-drilled mount holes for a three bolt mount or you can also choose to do the magnetic mount. All options are already on the light so 1 inch threaded, three bolt mount or magnetic mounting options are available with this unit.
It comes with a foam gasket for bolt mounting and a surface protector sticker for magnetic mounting.The LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, they're more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. It even features a really nice black housing. We got the amber lens with amber LEDs.When it comes to the measurements of the unit starting with the diameter here at the base.
That gives us a measurement pretty close to 6 1/2 inches. And the overall height of the unit at the tallest point it's about 5 inches tall.We're going to go and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. And then we'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting. So you can see here that the beacon sends out a really nice, clear, consistent signal. It's a very bright design.
Again, one flash pattern. When it comes to the wattage, it's 18 watts. Voltage is 12 to 24 volts. And amperage is 1.5 amps. And then again, we can utilize that on and off switch on top of the power plug to easily and quickly control the on and off functions of the light.And that's going to do it for today's look at the LED amber beacon light..
