Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your rear cargo area, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove the interior access panels to reach the harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead with the attached fuse holder to the car battery in your trunk. Connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed within your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
ModuLite Powered Tail Light Converter
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

I installed this trailer light wiring kit on my 2013 Nissan NV200. Everything fit perfectly, and after running a power wire up to the battery, no small challenge in this van, everything worked flawlessly. I would easily give this product an "Excellent" rating. A good quality electrician's "fish" wire helps a lot.....

2017 Nissan NV200
I had my mechanic install the hitch and lighting system because I didn't have a lift and, well, quite frankly, it was too damn hot outside for this chubby [me] to be rolling around in the driveway. Mechanic said the install was a pretty painless process, all the bolt holes lined up, etc.. Seems to be a very high quality product, shipping was a breeze, good communication with seller. Highly recommended.

The connector hook up was a snap. Only issue us with snaking the harness with connectors attached across the top/back. Took a little working underneath to route the power wire up to the battery, but it all worked out well. Knowing what I do now I would still buy thus product

Look great on NV200 nissan, it was a little hard fishing bolt and locking washer threw fram to attach hitch, they need to take slow fishing threw. And the t-connected was very easy to hook and running black from battery to t-connected was easy also, thanks for all the material ship with every.

After receiving the new hitch, I went right to work installing it. The NV 200 is very low to the ground, so a lift of some sort would've been a plus. After fishing the bolts through the frame, the remaining installation went very well!
I had it installed in less than 2 hrs. The fit was perfect!

I ordered it online after looking at it, it arrived in 2 days and plugged in exactly like the directions said. The only problem I had was routing I could not go over the top there were too many obstacles to pull the connectors through.I had to go underneath the Matt in the back which was no problem. It was plug and Play real simple

Went in easy enough. Would have liked shrink-on fittings and a picture to show how/where to mount the module. Thought this would provide instructions to run wire outside permanently. This unit stays in van and you pull out when you need it. Should work well for my application.
