2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 - T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector

  • Trailer Hitch Wiring
  • 4 Flat
  • No Converter
  • Tekonsha

Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your Chevrolet Silverado 3500. This T-One typically plugs directly into the back of your factory-installed 7-way connector so you can retain the 7-way and also pull a trailer that has a 4-pole flat.

Features:

  • Provides a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Retains functionality of factory-installed 7-way, RV-style connector (if present)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points behind rear bumper
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Constructed of 16-gauge bonded wire
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector

Specs:

  • Maximum amperage: 7.5 amps per circuit
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper. If you have a factory-installed 7-way, blade-style connector, the T-One will plug in between the 7-way and the OEM socket.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

2013 GMC Sierra

Have been looking for a T-connector for my trailer lights for two years. Truck has a seven pin connector built-in. Wanted my GMC emblem to light up when the breaks are applied. Was getting ready to cut and splice wires when I looked on the internet and learned about etrailer.com. Found the T-connector I needed. Took 5 days to arrive after ordering, and 5 minutes to install. Works great !

Just what I needed .... perfect fit!!

2012 Toyota Tundra

I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra and I recently bought a pre-owned Leer camper shell. I used this harness to wire up the third brake light. I also used the brake light module. This setup worked perfectly and resulted in a neat and clean professional installation. Thanks etrailer, you had everything I needed for a successful prefect installation.

Perfect fit for 2022 Sierra GMC . This leaves your 4 pin vacant to plug in your boat trailer etc

by:

Exactly as described, wires in nicely, has been working flawlessly since the installation!

Slow start to a good impression but everything worked out.
1. It started with a delivery delay; I live two hours from the manufacturer but it took 3 weeks to get me my harness. When the error was found they over-nighted the harness to me.
2. The wiring in the harness was loose and would lose connection, disabling the lights. Pushing a connector back in to place, crimping it down and wrapping it in electrical tape solved that issue.
That was a month into owning the harness. It's been a year now and I've had no problems. I'm pleased with the compatibility and ease of which it took to install.

The harness has held up great. Needed no adjustments after original installation.

2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Purchased this hitch for my new 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo online after being quoted a $700 installation price at my local Chrysler Dealership. After doing some online searching and reading multiple reviews I decided to give these folks a try. My husband and I watched a very detailed video explaining 3 different hitch options for my Jeep and quickly decided for the price it was worth giving it a try. From opening box to install was less than 20 minutes that included connecting trailer light kit that I purchased extra $$.$$. You can barely see it under my JEEP. I'm very pleased and can't hardly wait to use it. Thanks again etrailer.com you helped me prove my to my husband that it would work and saved me $600!

Search hi and low to find what I needed or even for someone who even understood what I needed. I had no luck until I search on etrailer.com. They had exactly what I was looking for. Ordering was simple and delivery was quick. They even check in with me before durning and after shipping. I love this site. I'll definitely shop here first next time.

Ive had no problem with this item even thru a harsh winter use. Just make sure you use a little diox grease on the electrical pins so moisture doesnt ruin the contact

@ReginaldW Good advice, dielectric grease like # 11755 does a great job of keeping moisture out of your electrical connections.

  • Where Is the 12 Volt Trailer Connector Fuse on a 2015 Ram 1500
It would appear judging from the online version of the owner's manual for your 2015 Ram 1500 that the 12 volt power on the 7-way is tied into the pink, 30 amp fuse in the F30 slot within the power distribution center (PDC). If this is not correct then you would need to reach out to the dealer.

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Lights When Trailer is Connected to 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4
It sounds like a problem with the ground or wiring on the trailer, but it would be wise to check all of the components in your wiring system. You can test the trailer connectors on the 2004 GMC Sierra and the trailer with a circuit tester like the Quickee Tester, part # PTW2993. I am including a link to a FAQ page on trailer wiring that will show you the functions of each pin on your connector, depending on if it is either a 4-Way, 5-Way, 6-Way, or 7-Way. This will help you determine if...

  • 7-Way Trailer Connector Recommended for 2016 Chevy Traverse
I'd be happy to help you with that. Even though you don't have the 'factory tow package', your vehicle is already prewired for a 7-way and a brake controller, if you need one. For the 7-way, you can use part # 118271 that will plug into the connector under the bumper. The kit includes the fuses and relays needed to activate the tow package. For a 4 pin connector, you can either use an adapter like # PK12716, or you can use a t-connector like # 118384 that would plug into the connection...

They actually are not, but fret not! The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch # 75713 will utilize existing bolts on your 2018 Dodge Durango. If you watch the install video I have included below, it will show you exactly where these bolts are located. It's a total of 4 bolts (2 bolts on each side of the vehicle), so it will be a pretty quick and straight forward install as well. Install instructions are also included below. • 7-Way Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Sounds like your 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a round connector present at the rear that a 7-way can plug into. For that the # 74682 is compatible and would work well. When installed it will give you a 7-way and a 4-way at the rear of your vehicle. I attached an install video that shows the adapter being installed on a similar 2017 Grand Cherokee as yours as well.

  • 4-Pole Trailer Connector for 2021 Ford Ranger
The Tekonsha # 118325 won't fit the 2021 Ranger. Instead, you'd need to use part # 22124 if your truck isn't equipped with the factory 7-way connector. You can then use either an adapter like # 47345 or a T-harness like part # 118384 which would install inline between the 7-way and the harness provided by the # 22124. I'd recommend the T-harness versus the adapter, as the adapters are easily misplaced.

To switch the Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller, part # TK90160, from your 2006 Toyota Tundra, to your 2011 Toyota Tundra should be very simple. If you had a factory 7-Way on your 2006 Tundra, you can just unplug the brake controller from the vehicle and use the same # 3040-P wiring harness to install it in the 2011 Tundra. I wish we had an adapter for your 7-way that would give you both a functional 7-way and 4-way that could easily be transferred to a different vehicle, but the only solution have is the # 118384 which would plug inline with your 7-way to allow you an additional 4-way that would be active. Usually when there is a question on the function of a wire the solution is to test that wire. But you indicated that you have tested the wires and still cannot figure out the functions. But you didn't say why that is. Were you getting conflicting readings from the meter? A meter might be a little too sensitive for this test. Really all that is needed is a circuit tester such as # PTW2993. Two of the wires will show power when the brake pedal is pressed. And one of those wires will also...

  • Running Light Circuit on Truck Side 4- and 7-Way Connectors Does Not have Power
The flashers are on a different circuit than the running lights on a 7- or 4-Way. Brake lights and turn signals are combined on one circuit. The running lights do not share a circuit. So since there is no power on the running light circuit I suspect that it is a tow package fuse or relay that is blown or missing. Check the vehicle owners manual to find the locations of the tow package fuses and/or relays. If there is a blown fuse then you would want to determine where the short occurred...

It's probably controlled by the TIPM which requires a dealer visit to reset which is super annoying. To bypass this you could wire in a universal 4-way to your taillight wiring which you could then run to your current 7-way. For that you would need the part # 119178KIT.

Just like in the video I attached. If the voltage checks out there but the trailer lights still don't function right then the problem is on the trailer wiring.
